I am on the other boards but wanted to know if anyone could offer me some advice on my first powerlifting event in mid July.

Currently pulling 380 x 8 but when I was my strongest 440 x 4.

Any help appreciated. I've only been to a few events so I don't really know what to expect.

drop the multiple rep sets and only do singles. However, you will need to several singles with a static weight and very short rest periods.
 
ok, work with weight that are between 60-80 percent of your 1 rep max. You want to work on bar speed. Then pick some accessory work that work the dl muscles --lower back, hamstrings, abs. 500lbs for a drugfree woman is excellent. ALso, if you can go w/o a belt for as long as possible. Make each single explosive.
