I have been doing great on my diet. I am down under 9% on my goal to 5%. I plan on doing a cheat meal tonight since I have yet to do one. It's going to be Chinese food and I am wondering how far back this one cheat meal will pout me or will it stimulate my metabolizm and actually help me when I go straight back to dieting tommorow morning?

fuck no it wont wreck your diet. it will actually help your metabolism. remember our bodies are adaptive beings that want that homeostasis.

Just alot os sodium in the chunese! Not my choice for a cheat. But if you are craving it go for it!

No a cheat meal is not going to set you back.

Sodium is not a bad thing when you are a BBer and eating a clean diet.

The issue is with all the 'hidden' sodium when people have a questionable diet and eat a lot of processed foods and take away food.

Sodium could actually be considered to be anabolic.

how is the sodium anabolic? i have never researched this. does it have something to do with water retention?

If thats the case im gonna lick my girlfriends pits while I hit that... :p

I salt everything I eat with Rock Salt

Reducing sodium too much can have a neg impact because sodium and potassium are necessary transports for cells
