Move to North Carolina

Anyone from NC, Charlotte area?
I'm dying to move out of metro-NY northeast. Heard lot of good things about NC. Also, based on criteria I'm looking for Charlotte comes up as best place to live.

If anyone knows about the area please share...
Anyone have experience finding a job in one state while living in another?
My career is sales, currently Information Technology sales.

I'm from NC (Greensboro). Great Plaec to live...Charlotte is the sin capital..

If you are in IT sales, you'd better also look around Raleigh/Cary/Chapel Hill...the Research triangle Park there is the Eastern US hotspot for IT companies....Good Luck, you should have NO problem finding a job here.

I live right down the road from Bullett during the school year. I live in Elon, go to school there. For the most part I think it's a great place to live.

Yeah right down the street from me basically. It's not as bad as everyone says it is. Burlington is a nice little town.

I lived in Jacksonville for 5 years. When I leave Japan, I'll be back there. I like NC. Bullett is right about the RTP area.
