Morons at the gym (the official thread)...

Some dude put 10s on the barbell and was like rolling them on the ground, I guess at a stretch or ab workout idk. Well anyways that wasn't the problem, the thing that pissed me off was that he was rolling under my bench and making it hard for me to lean over him to throw more 45s on the bar. Not to mention if for some reason I couldn't get the weight back up I would be dumping the bar onto him.

BB Rollouts for abs? lol though- douche bag doing it by you benching.
 
speaking of dumping weights... for some reason, almost every time i squat, someone pulls up a yoga mat and gets right up close to the side of the power cage...

Always! Even the "trainers" do it with their clients. Have to step over them, around them, watch out for their kicks just to load the bar.
 
Well I was at the Gym one time and this dude is rushing me off the bench. He was about 25 years, 180 5'8" 16-20 BF... So, I finish as fast as I can to give him the flat bench. He gets on the bench.. grabs a 45 plate.. I'm thinking what the hell is he gonna do. Lies down, puts the 45 on his forehead and starts doing neck crunches... Literally.. just moving his head up and down.. He does about 5-6 gets up from the bench with his huge ego, face all red.. I couldn't stop laughing LMAO


This one is not funny its about cocky bastards..

I hate cocky bastards at the gym.. One time me and my buddy were using the Universal Fly Machine, doing 3 sets of 8. We finished 2 sets, and went to the water fountain to get a drink. This cocky bastard goes over to our machine, takes the towels off from the seats, throws them on the floor and starts using the machine. My buddy and I came and were like WTF.. He started convincing us that he was using it first.. What a douche bag..

I'm in no way a pro bodybuilder or squatter or anything but I know that this guy was doing nothing.. He had his pen and paper out, sitting in the power rack, and he was doing squats. He would lift the bar up, and bend down, and sit on the bench then get back up and write something down, and do this over and over again. If he was doing some intense form of squats please tell me because I thought that was the dumbest thing I ever saw.

Then there's this guy who my friends actually have a problem with because he tried to rape this guy's girlfriend and then he went and told the guy that he had sex with her. anyways he goes onto every machine and does like 3 reps and then goes and finds another machine and does another 3 reps and then he's at the mirror checking out his tiny muscles.

then you have all those kids from my school, who don't know what they're doing, i'm like the only teenager that I know that is actually dedicated to this stuff.
 
some people at school were talking about the gym they go to today (doesnt even have a squat rack or power rack) and one guy said something along the lines of "if your working out to build muscle you should always train in the morning cause if u train before bed when your asleep and the muscle just turns to fat"

So the other day I was sitting in class and some sophomores were talking about creatine. One of them us like: "Yea that stuff will get you jacked but it is so bad for you, after all it is a chemical and all." Then they were talking for like a minute about how it is a legit legal steroid and it kills your body and liver and all that, and people shouldn't use it. The conversation was wrapped up when one of them said "Hey you must use creatine huh" to one of the football players, and he said no does it look like I use creatine? I'd be HUGE!

wow i feel compelled to tell a school one :) In gym we have to workout, and this sophomore chick who plays soccer always does ab workouts with her friends and today one of my buddies joined them (i didn't because i am lifted today). She does 10 situps, and 10 of another ab exercise, takes a 1 minute break and then does the same thing and keeps switching the order becuase it "confuses your abs"....
