and dr0832 is COMPLETELY wrong. oral temperature readings give accurate results if measured correctly.

I guess what's important is NOT the temperature on its own but rather its variation along the time (not sure I'm clear )

I use an anal thermometer for measuring my temp. Far best means at finding exact body temp. Regular thermometers are for pussies. I use the same one that they use on my dog when he goes to get shots. You can by one at a vetanarian for 9.99 I believe.
