gjohnson, a couple of things:

1. are there many people on this thread saying that his comments on stage weren't racist? i don't see that as being an important question here, because yes, i think it's fairly obvious that his statements are racist in and of themselves. it's not certain that he made those comments purely because he's a racist fuck...in fact the tape indicates that he did it to get a reaction. that doesn't negate its inherent racism or his culpability in saying those things, but the intent definitely counts for something.

2. there are plenty of black people who also think OJ is guilty as sin, right? all questions of actual guilt aside, haven't you seen at least a few black stand-ups mention OJ on stage? most of them (as i recall) talk about his being guilty in their eyes.

I still want to see a video clip of any "black comedian" going into a tirade such as Kramers from Martin Lawrence , D.L. Hubley , Chris Rock , Chris Tuck , David Chappel , Arsenio Hall , Eddie Murphy, Robin Harris , Jamie Fox , or even Richard Pryor...

I want someone to show me a clip of such an even from one of these unnamed "black Comedians"

The race card is tired and old and overused. Therefore it no longer lends any credence to the point.

If society generally accepts that black men ~naturally~ excell in certain sports endeavors, then why can't society generally accept that white men ~naturally~ excell in intellectual endeavors?

If we accept that there are biological differences that give black men an edge in sports then we must accept those same biological differences give white men an edge in intellectual endeavors.

He still had the crowd laughing when he said the upside down thing,it was after that when he lost them,he hit a breaking point,I bartend and bounce at a bar,and I have my breaking point as well si I know what thats like,though I just usually grab the offender break him in half and throw him out the door when someone crosses the line w/me,and if the police are called,I call my buddy on the force on his cell and clean it up,easy.....so thats my release,obviously something Richards couldnt have done.

I'm not leaving the sanctuary of the bar
maybe if a guy struck a girl
but otherwise no way
and if two girls go at it

the bottom line is - it's only funny when a black person calls another black person a nigger (meaning someone of the same color that makes their own race look bad).

it's only funny when a redneck rags on other rednecks and trailer trash

if I make a joke about someone and if they've got "blocks or tires" - I'm just a stuck up cunt - but if a trailer dweller makes that joke it's really funny
