I think cracker/honkey is the equivilant of the N-bomb. As in it is absolutley fucking ABSURD to give a word so much power to hurt. Words are nothing but a frequency that comes out of our mouths interrupted in others ear drums.
Now I could see, of saying either word could shatter their ear drums and make them infertile for life ya okay, don't say it. But America needs to get the fuck over itself on the PC'ed bull shit that is soaked up up to the waist.
Why should I feel guilty that ancestors killed/ensalved others ancestors? I'm white but have Native American blood in me, so should I hate myself for killing millions of my ancestors and turn around and feel guilty? I also have African on one side of the line far back, so should I do the same as above, both ways?
I have Irish in me, so should I hate the British part in me? I have French in me, so should I hate the German part in me?
My mom has traced my ancestors back to the 1400's or so. As she told me, I am a bottle of V8, a little bit of everything in me. I owe no one a debt for my ancestors, as they do not owe me.

Slavery going WAY WAY back generally works like this. One big bad army takes kicks ass, and sells the survivors into slavery.

a buddy of mine from college is a very successful pro comic
makes about 8 thousand per show
I stayed with him and his family in st louis recently and he had a heckling story he shared
they get tired of it but most pro comics are quick enough "on their feet" to handle the typical jack-off, even if there's groups of them

The later European or Transatlantic slave trade from Africa to the Americas originated around 1500, during the early period of European discovery of West Africa and the establishment of Atlantic colonies in the Caribbean, South and North America when growing sugar cane (and a few other crops) was found to be a lucrative enterprise. Slaves were usually captured by African tribes in raids or open warfare or purchased from other African tribes. Many tribes were happy to get rid of their enemies by capturing and selling them for trade goods--usually whiskey, swords, guns and gold. Whole tribes were often captured and sold not just the warriors. [8] A large number of slaves in the Atlantic slave trade were transported from what is now Guinea, the Congo, Angola and other parts of West Africa. It is believed that about 11 million men, women and children were transported in ships across the Atlantic to various ports in the New World--mostly to Brazil and the islands in the Caribbean from 1500 to 1850. Far from docilely accepting their imprisonment, a few transported Africans actively resisted the brutality of their captors. African slaves are known to have engaged in at least 250 shipboard rebellions during the period of the transatlantic crossings

I'm not trying to defend anybody, I'm just saying that in this country I think there is blame being passed that shouldn't be. Slavery has a long ugly history, long before white peeps set foot in the new world.

My grandparents came over from Italy and "worked" to make a life for themselves and future generations.
I have/had NOTHING to do with slavery, so I don't feel that same Lestat "guilt" that he feels.
And I've been called things JUST AS BAD as nigger, so excuse me if the "N" word doesn't cause me to feel any worse than any other derrogatory comment would.
