gjohnson, a couple of things:
1. are there many people on this thread saying that his comments on stage weren't racist? i don't see that as being an important question here, because yes, i think it's fairly obvious that his statements are racist in and of themselves. it's not certain that he made those comments purely because he's a racist fuck...in fact the tape indicates that he did it to get a reaction. that doesn't negate its inherent racism or his culpability in saying those things, but the intent definitely counts for something.
2. there are plenty of black people who also think OJ is guilty as sin, right? all questions of actual guilt aside, haven't you seen at least a few black stand-ups mention OJ on stage? most of them (as i recall) talk about his being guilty in their eyes.

he said it so many times " see these these are niggers get the fuck out niggers get out of here everyone look at these niggers..............yea your a nigger .........ouuuuuuuuuuuu! " he said the ouuuuuu part like yea i said it big deal .then some people were actually luaghing i think they thought it might have been a skit or part of a joke then he was gonna say something that was actually funny but he didnt
i think he was fucking cracked out of his mind. the best part is as its ending you see black people getting up and walking out by the dozen as if he was gonna pull out a gun and start firing into the crowd hoping to hit a " nigger"
they guy needs serious help those people payed to see that show they should get every penny back and a apology ,

i watch stand up all the time. and if they are black, indian, asian, they usually do some bit about different races. and they really let them have it. if a white man says something rash out of rage, all of a sudden he is a racist.
I come from a country that doesnt have the same history as the US, so maybe its impossible for me to understand.

Those of you saying it would have been considered funny if it was a black comedian have no idea what you are talking about. What he said made no attempt at being funny. You people are talking like he was being funny and made some good points and its being taken out of context because he's white. Well, shouting the word nigger over and over again is in no way a joke and there's nothing remotely funny about it. If he made fun of them based on stereotypes like being unemployed, in jail, big lips, or whatever then I would see your point in that a black comedian could get away with that. Do you think Eddie Murphy would just run around in circles yelling "Cracker!" over and over again? He'd look like a total tool and lose a lot of respect.
