Messicans can either be total work horses or slow and lazy, looks like you lucked out.

So I had no idea what a "McMansion" was so I looked it up on Urban Dictionary. After reading the description I could relate to that 'type' of house, especially around here (northern Ohio). BUT at the bottom of the description it actually calls out a specific neighborhood in Little Rock called Chenal Valley. Maybe it's just me but I fail to see the tackiness in the architecture of these homes, I actually liked the individuality of them. Am I wrong or just completely devoid in architectural taste?

It's common knowledge that only people who have 4+ years of college ever work anything more than a 40 hour work week and are usefully contributing members of society! Everyone else is just a potentially whiny, lazy drain on the system who, in the event they aren't collecting SSI/SSD, Welfare or UE, should count themselves lucky to receive even the federally mandated minimum wage, never mind bullshit like dental or healthcare or pensions, how dare such inferior specimens even momentarily fantasize they deserve to go to the hospital or repair their rotten teeth and honestly, if they aren't dead before they're 62 then they just haven't fucking been working hard enough!!!

I was going to say something yesterday but figured someone else would chime in...lol.

In college during the summer J would run cable for Lan-Tel and install sprinkler systems...12 hour days were the norm because the jobs were lined up that way. After he realized he couldn't do shit with his degree and liked that kind of work he decided to join the IUEC and 12 hour days were common there too though once in the IUEC if you work past 40 hours a week you'd get overtime pay.

I'm pretty removed from certain things, but I'm not that far removed. 10-12 hour days is just the way it is.

You are completely devoid in architectural taste.

I don't see anything "individual" about the McMansion style, they're anything but. It's just bits and pieces stolen from different older styles, thrown together in a sort of "eclectic" mishmash. A little bit of Tudor Cottage, a little bit of French Provincial, a little bit of Italianate... It adds up to a lot of suburban tackiness. And many of these houses come out of pattern books.

Funny, I'm doing the reappraisal cycle for Chenal Valley right now.
