DO YOU THINK THE FOLLOWING THEORY HOLDS UP?

I THINK WHEN AN UNATTRACTIVE PERSON GOES UP TO AN ATTRACTIVE PERSON, THAT PERSON WOULD NOT BE AFFECTED WITH REJECTION AS MUCH AS A GOOD-LOOKING PERSON. I THINK THIS BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY ARE NOT GOOD-LOOKING SO THEY ARE READY FOR REJECTION. MOST OF THE TIME WHEN I AM IN A BAR/CLUB, I ALWAYS SEE THE PERSON WHO IS TRYING TO PICK UP THE OPPOSITE SEX NOT MATCHING UP LOOKS-WISE.

DOES ANYONE ELSE AGREE? AND WHY IS THAT? LOW SELF-ESTEEM, INTIMIDATION OR WHAT?

A guy that goes to a club to pick up, whether he thinks he's attractive or not, will go with the attitude that he has nothing to lose, so he'll approach a good looking girl and if he gets rejected, he'll keep trying till he does pick up.

Personally, i'm very fussy. If i go out and i see something i like, i will go for it. If i don't see something i like, i'm happy to go home alone, simple as that.

At the end of the day, being attractive or not has little to do with fear of rejection. I have seen just as many, if not more attractive girls with insecurities than 'average' looking girls.

i don't think it matters either way, whether you are attractive or not so attractive, nobody likes to be rejected.

I have never had difficulty expressing interest in a man that I found to be attractive. I know that I am not all that and if he did not return the sentiment, it doesn't hurt me personally. There are men who find me attractive, that though I am flattered by their interest that does not mean I am interested in them. It isn't personal, just is that that is how it is... very matter of fact - like.

If I saw a guy that I thought was cute, I told him that I thought he was good enough to eat, it made him smile and that was enough for me. Just a pleasant little bleep on the screen of life.

Not all people base attractiveness on physical appearance....it may play a role but it is certainly not the end-all.

IE A girl can be extremely good looking yet be a complete and utter retard. I would find her very unattractive. OR the same atttractive girl may be extremely wrapped up in herslef, another thing that makes woman extremely unattractive (Men too, i guess).
