also need2 had a good chicken recipe....Fresh orange juice and honey=delicious

Condiments are fine bro... use sauces just stay away from like bbq sauce or ones with excessive cals.

I use ketchup to over my chicken.. or various spices your montreal rub is fine

Prepackaged stuff is normally full of nitrates, chemicals and SODIUM. Not normally the best choice.

The leanest cuts of meat, the better, the more natural the better.

Lots of green veggies, brown rice, oats, lean meat protein, protein shakes, eggs/egg whites. Those are GREAT starting foods.

When you say oatmeal what kind of oatmeal you talking about? instant oatmeal or what?

Steel cut or rolled oats is a better option, and it is more or less 'instant' anyway.

You can either cook it by:

1. Pouring boiling water on it and letting it sit about 5 min

2. Adding water and microwaving

3. Putting it on the stove and cooking for about 5 min

4. Soaking it overnight it water, milk

I'm going to store now to stock up on stuff.. Lets hope I can get into the habit of dieting !
