Lower back pain, what do you guys do?

lately I havent been able to get a good leg workout in because I have bad lower back pain when squating or doing hack squats. I never had this problem in the past and I know I have good form. Do you think this could be a kidney problem? Im in wk 8 of test cyp 400/wk and wk 2 of 50mg winny ed.

There could be lots of causes for it, but it could be the same basic back pain that is the #1 leading cause of missed work and doctor's appointments... working out doesn't change the fact that we spend a lot of our time in a seated position.

Exercise related injuries can make it worse, and there is also the problem of overcompensating for injured areas without really realizing it.

I get a chiropractic adjustment once a month, and it has done wonders for my lower back and neck problems; I really believe that misaligned discs can lead to ill health and bad posture, which feeds on itself.

Obviously if you're worried about kidneys or other problems like that you need to get it checked out.

Just don't keep grinding your lower back with heavy squats if you have a chronic injury. Sometimes there is such a thing as too much intensity.

I would stop doing squats and deadlifts, while on winny anyways. When I and a few of my bro's run winny our lower backs spasm whenever we squat often the pain may persist for a few days. Of course you may have a strain. Kidney pain most often( with the eception of stones) is a dull throbing pain just a little lower than mid back. I'm sure someone will reply and say that their on 200mg of winny a day and squating 800lbs for 20 reps without any lower back pain and this may be true for that person.:) Also I only run about 20mg of winny a day.

I have disc problems and cannot do regular squats. To avoid the problem I purchased a squat hip belt. This belt takes all the weight off the back and "hangs" it from the hips. I haven't been able to do squats for years but I am doing them now. Can't get too low but its better than nothing.
When I do have back pain though I take a bunch of aleve for a week with ibuprofen and cut back to regular dosages til the pain subsides. I only do this if the pain is so bad I can't move though.

this is what I did

I had the exact same problem and I healed myself in under 5 days. This is what I did:

1: at the end of your showers run hot water onto lower back for about 15 seconds.

2: massage lower back with some sort of electric massager for 10 minutes a day (try to get a girl to do this :D )

3: stretch your lower back by lying down and turning your hips to either side

4: take some advil

5: drink lots of water

good luck
