Class-Sick

New member
im 15 year old and ive been liftin and working out for around 6 months now... and ive gotten all the progress i wanted so far... but when it comes to my lower abbs... i just cant get them ripped, i mean my upper abbs are ripped and the rest of my boddy (except my bicepts need a lil more work) and it looks really funny not having ripped lower abbs... does anyone have any tipps or workout excersizes i could try? thanx any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try leg raises or even better weighted leg raises..
Diet is important too along with cardio and abs routine..

Diet, you can't rip a body part with exercises or more reps and less weight, when you take away the fat you get more ripped.

Check the diet board, depending on how much fat you have really depends on what kind and how long of a diet you will need.

Also do some sort of cardio, running/walking biking swimming whatever you choose. Just aslong as you do it a few times a week at a good pace and have diet in check.

well im only like 8% body fat... so i dont think i need to loose any fat.... but the cardio is most def. a good idea... thanx

If you do cardio your gonna lose some fat, so if you don't think you need to lose any more fat then I suggest don't doing cardio.

Problem solved

In terms of getting ripped your lower Abs will be one of the last areas to show definition as it requires lower than 7% BF on most people to notice the results.

The core exercise for the lower abs is hanging leg rises (Keep your upper back straight) also use a strap on your arms if your grip is bad so you can focus on the ab work itself.
Train it like you would any other muscle; I used weights strapped on my legs for this (8 sets of 6-10 reps).
Another good way to work it, is to kick alot; via ring fighting, heavy bag training whatever (I suggest using strapped on custom weights on your lower body and legs for this; do not forget to increase the weight as time goes on.)

I have being thaiboxing for years and have great abs at 9% body fat; but I notice that if I want good detail for the lower abs I need to lower BF even more; that just seems the way with lower abs.

I know that you have to diet hard...but it seems that the more that I have been training my abs lately...the leaner that they look.

I train mine hard, intense, and for STRENGTH. They are looking a lot better too.
