Log of PCT now, will start new Cycle Nov 17

Hey Eric! glad you stopped by!...I think I've got the most pages in a log...I'm pretty anal about logging everything...I don't know how you could miss it!!!!

Just started Cycle Monday 12/1 ( yesterday)....my Doc had put me on TRT a few weeks ago, and I had a follow up, plus bloodwork done...was paranoid he would recheck test levels this time...he didn't!! Damn it...I could have started weeks ago!!...LOL

I am Using Testim first think in the morning, after that dries, I'm applying 4 pumps of 1-T...I try not to apply over the areas I've used the Testim...So I've been using my forearms, abs, and inner lats.
Started on 4 Monsterdrol this week....will be adding Cyclotren in two weeks..

I guess I don't really need PCT as I am on TRT now...last cycle of Monsterdrol and Dermacrine my Test levels were at 211 after 4 weeks of PCT....even being that low...the Sustain Alpha did a great job of getting my sex drive back!

Hey bro...they Doc, per instructions is having me put on arms, chest...it says not to put on Abs or scrotum.....( had to put Sustain Alpha on the nuts after the one thread...LOL) I am putting 1-T on inside of arms, abs, inner lats, and forearms...not on top of testim, or do you think I could put one over the other????????
 
Shoulders

Shoulders have been killing me for a few weeks, thought I would try the Hammer Strength iso lateral shoulder press instead of military presses tonight...pretty nice..you can do one arm at a time...each side is independent ..didn;t use it that way...pressed both side same time....I personally like most of the H&S stuff...I use the incline and Decline bench also the high row..

HELP...Need some Anabolic Diet/ Keto Diet Gurus to chime in!!

Diet ...well I don't know if it is good...doing the Anabolic diet...staying away from carbs, but I'm gaining weight:confused: I know I'm on the Monsterdrol and 1-T and testin right now...but I thought I would drop a few just in water and glycogen...I'm feeling fatter than I did when I started this week...it's only been 4 days...wanted to try this because I gained 5lbs since end of last cycle, have been good on my diet ( check log!) was hitting cardio and nothing....want to loose 20+lbs fat and put on 5-10lbs lean this cycle(10-15lb net loss on scale)

Checked BF at gym tonight my BF is the same as last week it says, but weight is up...I want the BF to drop...may have to cut back on eating...just don't want to stop LBM gains while "on"...weight tonight was 247lbs

Breakfast: 3eggs, 4slices of bacon
Midmorning: 44g whey, 2oz half and half, water
Lunch: this was crazy......10 Hot wings!! not breaded..traditional, just fried and sauced!
Midafternoon:4oz hamburger, 2 oz cheese
Dinner: 6oz Meatloaf, 1 cup green beans
PWO: 44g Whey, 10g BCAA 15G L-Glutamine 2oz half and half , water ice
Snack: 2tbsps ANBP
 
when you say lateral raises. is that a machine or db's??? i am hoping a machine because I use 5 lb's for lateral raises, lol. well I get up to 12 lbs.

I would just make sure you are getting the 1-T on the upper back and shoulders.

For your breakfast, have you considered turkey bacon instead of regular bacon, less fat and taste good. and i see that your doing Back and biceps together and chest and triceps together, why not back and triceps, and chest and biceps so you work your biceps and triceps when they're fresh. you would also benefit more, imo because you would be working triceps on chest day and then triceps by themselves on another day so you hit them light from the secondary muscles, then hit them hard with the isolation movements.

I'm, eating the Bacon due to being on a Keto diet...the anabolic diet is a high fat, high protein almost no carb diet with carb loading on the weekends.

I've always worked worked push/pull muscles together...sometimes i will work Arms on there separate day, but have never worked Back tri's Chest bi's...almost afraid of over working this muscle that way! :D

I feel alot different this cycle...energy kinda sucks, strength is not as good and generally down...feeling fat and shitty....some I think is the diet, I've been doing the Anabloic Diet the last week + now...So I'm sure it is just my body getting use to using fat instead of carbs for energy, other is I've been out of Lipoflame and Amplify02:mad::mad:....FUCK.....I thinkI'm a fucking addict...I'm not fucking kidding...I can't live without these....they make workouts so much better....I'm thinking my last cycle of Monsterdrol I had Lipo and Amp since day one...this cycle i've been out since day one....might be the difference...now wondering if Monsterdrol had an efect on strength before or was it all Lipo and Amp??????

I'll let you know my opinion was the lipo and amp arrive (should be any day!)
 
Keep at it BB. At least your at the gym and focusing on diet instead of being a lazy ass! Psuh through the tough times and focus on how much you have improved and how much you will improve over these next few weeks!!

Doesn't your shoulder hurt while doing dips? I think you should do some rotator cuff exercises to heal the shoulders...
 
Few things to ask.

1.what does the diet look like, what exactly are you eating bro? as opposed to what you were eating on last cycle?

2. Remember monsterdrol is a steroid. One of steroids main actions is nutrition retention. No nutrition means no retention so of course it cant do as good of a job as it would if it was being fed more. Get what I mean.

3. Limpo and amp will give you (drive and focus) along with pumps. This may give you a little as far as muscle gain. Having the increased drive focus and muscle pumps goes a long way though. It makes you push harder,feel better,getting all pumped up in the gym just gets in your head.

3. With the change in diet,lose of drive and focus,pumps, and this little nagging injury thrown in as a piss me off. I have come to the conclusion.

You are just not mentally in the zone right now bro. Of course this is the time when the men are separated from the boys bro. Dig in your heals keep going at it and will get you threw this.



lets start with that diet. We have to understand your goals and then give you a good diet to reach them. By good diet I do not mean the one that will get you there the fastest. I mean the best diet. One that will get you to your goals over time with out kicking your ass and making you want to quit.


Also looking at that work out you must be spending well over a hour in the gym. Thats a lot of sets bro. More is not always better.

Not enough space to input all the details about the Anabolic diet, but in a nut shell is is a CKD style diet...low/no carbs during the week, carb load on weekends.

Typical fods I'm eating, steak, more steak, eggs, cheese, and lots of greens. I've upped my vitamins to balance things out a bit.
I decided to try the AD diet as Atkins was the only diet in the past my wife was able to drop pounds on......I've been doing the typical bodybuilding diet for the last few months with little change....moderate carbs, high protein, low fat...and weight and BF has been the same....

So I though I would try this as all the postive reviews I've seen on this diet both on the board, t nation and others....SothernLord did this went from 20% BF down to 8%......

I've pretty discouraged over all the effort I bring to the gym ( I work to failure with forced reps every fucking set!)....and if you go back and read all the pages in my log, I bring it every day...both in the gym and what I eat....so i guess right now I just see the AD diet as a "metabolic break" if you will....something to mix it up and force my body to grow and burn some more fat....this chicken and tuna every day with streamed veggies wasn't do shit for me...

Well you are going to find out you will have a hell of a lot less energy and of course you will not gain as much from monsterdrol with out the cals. You are blasting out high rep work outs with no carbs. This is putting you in a (catabolic) state. As in your body is going to eat your muscles.

So with that being said you want to take something to stop this. Something to fight catabolic effects. Namely cortisol for one. CLA can help with this if you are not already taking it.

THis diet is going to kick your ass but if you can get threw it and it works then fucking hell ya. Will all be here to root you on bro. Just keep logging ed.

Try doing the inclines with a neutral grip and the machine pec flyes should be done with your palms facing the floor. This small changes will take some stress away from your shoulders, oh and avoid training to failure on chest days because when you try to get on the failure zone your weakest parts are at risk, if you do like 8 reps till failure on inclined, add 2 more sets and do 4-5 reps, so instead of one set of 8 total reps u will be doing 3x4-5reps that's a total of 12-15 reps against the original 8, this is good for rehab trust me... Plus you are doing too many exercises, I usually do two chest exercises per workout.

Great log bro, hang in there and stay motivated! Listen to Needto when he says "more isn't always better" when it comes to sets. That was one of my biggest faults with my workout. He posted up a workout for me and I'm loving it right now!

Needto is a great bro..hard not to follow his advice...training is hard one for me to cut back on....If I'm not feeling total pumped by the time I'm done...I feel like I didn't hit it hard enough...truth is since I just went back to training this year, I'm still training like I did over 10 years ago when I was younger and trained pretty much non stop for over a decade..hard to get that " program" out of mind...I know that I need to adjust for age, years off, not using the gear I did back then etc...but I'm still training that way...I think I need a hard slap across the head!!...LOL

My biggest problem is diet. There is so much conflicing info....I love EF, but this forum doesn't make it easier!...low fat, low carbs, high protein, medium protein..WTF?....I'm more confused than a 14year old with an experienced hooker...LOL....:confused:

I've been doing the AD diet for the last two weeks to try and mix it up and get the body to go into more of a fat burn mode and its not doing shit right now...in fat I feel fat and bloated...don't know if I should give it up and go back to the standard or keep pushing.....I just afraid I'm blowing my cycle right now......

When I was young I could pretty much eat anything and grow and stay pretty lean...now I look at food and I'm a pig....I haven't lost any weight in months now (since my last cycle) and BF is staying the same even though I'm busting my arse at the gym....

After doing alot of reading the AD made sense...but I would have expected some BF drop by now....nada, zip, zero...in fact I weigh more and look more bloated in the gut...noticed tonight the gut is puffy and sticking out...don't want to show a side profile...so sorta going into full blown panic mode right now.....made I'll just get some liposuction(J/K!)

Today was off day for gym...legs tomorrow...Just need Needto to move on down to Florida and be my personal trainer and Chef!! :)...too bad my last name isn't Gates...LOL
 
Bro you need a more positive atitude towards yourself, judging by your posts I feel you are underpressure, pessimist and stressed out, that's not good for you, more stress leads to more cortisol which doesn't help build muscle, just relax and trust yourself, don't rely so much on the supplements, I mean monsterdrol, lipoflame and amp seem to be good stuff, but those don't get anywhere by themselves, it's all you remember that, it's not like by not having those you can't workout, you have done it in the past and you can do it now.

I would say you should change your routine all together, the keto diet has to be under control and there are some other rules about it you should no so you don't feel crappy and lifeless all the time.

You really need a new mindset, through this your shoulder pain will go away and you will meet your fitness goals. Are you willing?

In my opinion bro, your stressing your self out over it way to much. There are thousands of "diets" out there and all I'm sure has their own pros/cons. Instead of sticking with one certain program and counting everything so seriously, how about trying a more radical approach. This is more of the strategy I'm using and I'm seeing some results. I occasionally post up my diet to make sure I'm still in a decent range.

1. Eat as often as possible. (5-7 meals)
2. Eat clean but don't kill yourself when you have the occasional grease.
3. Lean, Green, Marine (lean red meats, green veggies, fish/seafood)
4. I prefer lean top sirloin but turkey breast cutlets are great as well!
5. RELAX AND BE PATIENT!

when it comes to diet and training do this. Make up your mind. Do some research, talk to a good bro something. Find some one (just one person) or (just one program) think about it. Stick with 1 plan!!!!!!!!! for both training and diet. Right the plan down. Stick to the plan 100% for a full 6 weeks before you judge it. Give it a full 6 weeks of putting all you got into it. But you have to figure it out.

Do not go back and forth changing things up. Find what you want for a goal. ether ask for 1 person to help you out and stick to there advice only, or come up with a plan for yourself and stick to it.

Of course there is going to be many different ways of doing things. There is many different goals,many different people out there and many different ways work for them.

So many people out there just don't get that what worked for them may not work for others. So they will force there program on you. Just pick one program. 1 diet and 1 training program and give it at least 6 weeks.

After that 6 weeks find out where you are at. What you think worked and what you think did not. Change it up as needed.

Exactly, that is some great advice...I took the exact same bro...in the end I've realized what has worked for me when it comes to my goals...you can do the exact same! i'm cheering for ya bro, just like i have and needto has said, relax and be patient, then make adjustments. stay motivated bro, even when the times seem rough. in the end you'll be glad that your pushed your ass through it! that i promise!

Shoot him a message and see if the same workout and diet would work for you as well bro...As far as diet goes I'm getting 50% protein, 30% fat and 20% carbs.

1. on the bench its 8-12 repsx4 not 20 stop waiting time and muscle going so high with your reps its a damn waist. The rest on that movement is fine. Remember to push it out 2-3 seconds one every rep. 250x9 is not something to laugh at ether. good work.

rest of the workout looks good to go. Remember 2 min rest between sets and 3 between work outs and no more. Concentration on the muscle group and pushing it for 2-3 seconds on each set.

Now. 1 how was the diet? and 2 your ass better be up for morning cardoi tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the hard parts. In fact I expect a post from you in the morning when cardoi is over. To be honest bro...super tired...I'm thinking part is the Monsterdrol...but I've been just worn down lately. for example...today I spent most of the day sleeping....today was a workout day ( things got pushed back a day because the gym was closed thursday)...I did Morning Cardio...ate...and then went to sleep on the sofa.....woke up...made some tuna for lunch then went in my room and slept till 5:04...got up and went to the gym to do legs....I feel great at the gym, BUT these workouts are draining me...even though it's less volume, the intensity is insane....even after my first excercise today...squats I'm thinking...HOLY SHIT....I Still have alot of work to do!".....

Yes keep at it bro.. I was sure I said no running on squat day though as its to much leg work.. I am sure because a day got pushed back you did not even think of it. Next time just do one or the other.

I am not the type person that gets depressed ever! At work on Monday, I would tear up anytime someone spoke to me. I had enough! I looked on the internet to see the side effects. All the symptoms were there–aching, glucose change, and in mouse print, oh-by-the-way style, was depression. After stopping the Lipitor on Monday, by Wednesday I was back to normal. EVERYONE should know that Lipitor can cause very bad depression.

I took it for many years and the change was so gradual I hardly noticed but it evenyually grew so bad and it took me forever to pinpoint it, I thought it was because of my conjestive heart failure. After yalking to my new doctor, he temporarily took me off. I haven't felt this good in years. My kids even noticed, they told me that I actually started coming back to life before their eyes. I only found out after reading this site. Good luck to you, I found out before it actually killed me. By the way, I suffered a complete cardiac arrest while on Lipitor and I still made no connection. I was on that stuff for about 17 years or more.

51 yr old male; Lipitor therapy for 3 yrs due to high cholesterol levels and family history on both sides; always been pretty active but noticed a lack of energy and fatigue; muscle aches, tingling legs, loss of memory; figured it was me aging but I wasn't willing to accept it. Also have been tested for and found to have abnormally low testosterone levels; guess what the doctor prescribed for that- testosterone hormone, the cream Androgel. He never once mentioned that the Lipitor could be working against the testosterone; I've been on doses as high as 60 mg but down to 40 now. I have an appt with a new doctor and you can be assured we'll be discussing this; I recently had a cardiac calcium scoring exam and it revealed a cyst on the top of my liver; ? could it be related, who knows.

First off I would like to say I let out a big sigh of relief when I heard my friends voice on the phone today. I was just happy to hear him speaking to me. We had a good conversation like we always do (blacks A hell of a good guy), and we talked longer then we meant to (like we always do) and at the end It felt really good to get to talk to him again..

I was not happy to hear my friend had been threw some hard times. It pained me but I am glad he is doing fine and getting better. Black bro I love ya man and I think I speak for everyone when I say we can't wait ti see you again...

I am on the phone with black right now guys.. Not good news. He got a little sick for a wile. Had some liver problems... I am sure he will be around tonight or later to tell the story..

Basically the combo of lipitor monsterdrol and all the other stuff he was on gave him some liver and golblatter problems. Lipitor Information from Drugs.com . Guys a word to the wise for all of you. mixing medications especially strong meds like statins (that cause liver and kindy problems) together with strong products like monsterdrol can cause problems..
