Liquor while on diet?

Ok, I know a lot of people are going to say don't drink, or say, why are you doing it to your body for someone else, but those will fall on deaf ears because it doesn't matter.

My current boss is having a "get together" for employees, and there is a promotion coming up and he enjoys his drink. He has invited me to come over early and have a few with him but I am currently dieting for a trip, if I go over empty handed I will be stuck drinking whatever he has or is having, he is an older gentleman and doesn't understand the concept of watching what you eat/drink, so me saying "no I'm not drinking" will most likely offend him, I know many might say "Well you should be promoted on your skills" well I say fuck that, if he is going to promote me because he likes me as a person to I will take it, it's a substantial increase in salary.

Therefore my question is, what alcohol can I drink that would be the lower calories/fat/sugar/carbs and still catch a bit of a buzz?

Thanks in advance, need to know asap

Light beer would be good. It doesn't have many calories. Or maybe a few glasses of hard alcohol. If I was you the morning of your drinking event. I would take extra of your holistic health supplements, not of your BBing supplements, like a multi vitamin or extra vitamin c, and I would eat your regular diet, maybe lower the portion sizes a little, to compensate for drinking, drink water all day, I am sure you already do, and drink water while drinking if you can. When you leave and go home, drink a lot of water before bed if you can, and maybe take another multi vitamin. You don't want to be dehydrated or nutrient depleted after drinking. If your not too buzzed, maybe even do some cardio before bed along with these tips.
