Lifting schedule on AS

I am switching my schedule from 4 days a week to 5. I plan on doing:
Monday-chest
Tuesday-back
Wed -legs
thurs - arms
fri - shoulders/traps
sat/sun off.

The reason I do legs on wed is to give the upper body time to heal. Is this too much? A buddy of mine does a routine like this:
Monday-upper body
Tues- cardio
Wed - legs
Thurs - cardio
Fri- upper body
sat - legs
Sun - off.

I do not think he is able to hit the intensity with a total upper body on 1 day. Does that seem reasonable or is the routine I have better to build those on AS?

I would lift more often if I were you. When I take something like test, I can lift twice a day, 7 days a week. Recovery time on AS is extremely fast.

Really? Does anyone else agree with this? The cycle is EQ/Decca -10 weeks

I would stick to your five day, 1 bodypart a day plan... It's been reccommended to me... The reason you want to do this, regardless of how much time you THINK you could spend at the gym, is because your muscles do need a day or two off to heal... Just hit your lifting days hard and take your rest days to heart... I'm just passing along advice I've received...

Ditto. Muscles need rest. period.

Yeah, Max is right...You gotta recoup sometime! I never really started to grow until I increased the number of days between body parts.

I agree, muscles need rest. The plan you proposed is exactly what I do, I find that doing the muscle groups in that order works well for resting secondary muscle groups. For example, sometimes I get a decent tricep pump from chest day, so doing arms on Thursday gives adequate rest for a good arm workout. Good luck bro!

I think it depends on the individual.......some can lift twice a day or each body part twice a week, some can't!

I currently do everything once per week but I am thinking of doing it twice, because my body has felt great only one week into my cycle...

500mg/week deca
400mg/week primo
50mg winny/ED

My strength and recovery has been incredible only one week in! Awsome.......:D
