My dad and stepmom are Catholic, but I grew up with my mom as a Baptist, so I have seen both religions a bit. I didn't ask them what they are giving up yet. It will be interesting to hear since they don't do shit anyway...lol.

I don't do the lent thing, but I respect it the intent behind it.

I will concentrate on those that are willing to get into the life boat, i no longer want to expend energy with those that think it is safe to swim outside of the boat in the cold, dark, and shark infested waters..

Also, looks like the Anglicans may be soon welcomed back into the fold. The Archbishop of Canterbury may cede his power back to the Pope. The more conservative Anglicans are upset about openly gay clergy and are working with the Catholic Cardinals about returning.

nope dont goto the church anymore,i prefer to practice on my own due to the hypocracy of other members of the church.
