I went heavy [for me] on deads on Wednesday and an area just below my knee cap on the inside of my leg is still sore. I'm scheduled for deads again today, should I skip em, not worry or proceed with caution?
Well most of us would probably say skip them but if it was us, we'd probably feel it out and then do them anyway. Not a sin to do deadlifts last and go a little lighter either.
Yeah there's a lot that can go wrong with the knee but you're as likely to injure it jogging or doing leg extensions as lifting heavy. And realize too, more and more of the well known trainers like Poliquin are recommending deep squats for knee health.
