i'd definately bulk. but just wait to do whatever you do after you're done being sick

Thanks, I will see how long this cold last first and then see how it goes.
 
Muscle Memory is an amazing thing... I hadn't barbell bench pressed in over 2 years because of an injury...
Within 3 weeks I was smashin PR's.....
How do you like them apples ;)

I like them alot, How much did you gain on your bulking cycle bones? I am looking to get atleast 20 lbs, all together with the fat. That would put me at 170 and then hope to cut to 160 and bulk again. I wanna be 180 in 6 months time, think this unrealistic?

I've been alright thanks, why don't you try to do HST? is would give you some LBM faster, I guess, so you could cut sooner, I'm not too sure about this, just throwing up ideas

I gained 22 lbs when I bulked... went from 178 and pretty cut to 200 and kinda chunky (maybe a few lbs over.. but not very much)
I know for a fact I could have done a WAY better job on my bulk though, I could have done it a lot cleaner... I bulked for just under 3 months.
I've been cutting now for a month, and I'm sitting around 192... I figure I'll be around 185 when I'm at the same BF % that I had at 178. So a good 7 lbs of LBM added to my frame. When I bulk up and add fat... I look like shit.... at 5'10 I look like a fridge or something @ 200 lbs...

I wouldn't stress over it too much man...
It will come back fast... probably REALLY fast... and before you know it you will be slamming PR's through the floor left right and center.

I am doing DC's routine which is like HST but more stretching and instead of straight sets you do rest pause with a 6 second negative.

Thanks for your help, I hope to get atleast 10lbm on this bulk cycle and then try and get more next one.
 
when i first started bulking, i gained 30-some pounds in a couple months. now a bit was fat bot a lot was LBM. i was very suprised. now that i think about it, i MIGHT have been getting close to 1 g protein per lb of bodyweight, etc. but nothing was stressed too much and i only had like a cookie every now and then
