Just a reminder, dont eat whole eggs

I dont go over 2-3 whole eggs a day. The rest is whites. I think that you will be fine as long as you dont over do it. 12 whole eggs a day may not be the greatest idea. Its too bad, cause there is lots of protien in the yolk as well.

I just try to eat 5 or 6 eggwhites in the morning and wash them down a protien shake made with half and half. What does'nt kill you, makes you stronger.

I eat egg-beats (or the generic kind at Costco) No cholesterol, no fat - just egg protein - pour it into the pan and 'instant eggs'!! Taste great too...

Eat those whole eggs! The cholesterol made by your body is due in part by what you eat...but not from eggs. Insulin is a major contributor to destroying the lining of the arteries and cholesterol is there to heal them. What causes a rise in insulin....sugars and high GI carbs! Eat natural foods and you can't go wrong!

eggs have cholesterol, but your dietary cholesterol intake has absolutely nothing to do with your blood cholesterol numbers.
80% chol your body makes, the rest you get from food. Try eating 10whole eggs a day for 2-3 months, and do this 3 times per year and then see if your cholesterol level will go up. Mine did. Try it and see.

Why does the FDA say avoid whole eggs then if your trying to lower cholesterol? Butter, egg yolks and ice cream, are they lying? They must now something we don't.

I don't think you can put ice cream and butter in with eggs. Ice cream and butter are loaded w/ saturated fat and ice cream his a shit load of sugar. Any foods that are high in saturated fat and sugar or processed foods are horrible for you (pizza). Like the above posts say, some cholesterol comes from food, but that's the least of your worries. I guarantee you that if you avoid cholesterol completely in your diet that you can still have a horrible lipid profile despite genetics.

There is some correlation between dietary and serum cholesterol levels, but unless you have very high cholesterol already, it will not do you any harm, but will bring a lot of good.

exactly.

My Cholesterol got better when I was eating ~5 whole eggs a day (and discontinued AAS). I think its a myth personally.
