Yeah you will feel the shoulder more on chest exercises because it's a pushing movement... Back is pulling more so. So you are only strengthening your dominant muscle more, and stretching the weaker muscle more.. Where that posterior delt work comes in handy.. Try push/pull.... Chest press with bent over row.. Shoulder Press With uni DB bent over row. That way you press out the chest/shoulder (get the pain) and then do the pull to strengthen the muscle that is screaming and it should subside to let you do more on the other muscle.
