thx bunz....good to be back :)

i have this bodyfat monitor thingy....it's called omron. funny thing is i just measured my bf again and it said 10.9% i did just scarf done about 700 cals pwo shake....that can't be it though can it??? not sure how accurate it is....spent $50 on it....doesn't have to be dead on balls accurate but hopefully pretty close. i'll take pics at the end of the week and post them....not as vascular as i was before i bulked...but def thicker....the vascularity will come in a few weeks
 
last nights training

chest
- hammer strength 3x14,12,6
- flat flyes 25x15, 30x12, 35x10
- flat db presses 50x15, 60x12, 70x6 shoulder was a little tweaked so i stopped...was going for 8-9....prob would have gotten it if shoulder wasn't bothering me
- dips 2x15

back
- pullups i did a total of 50 reps....that is how i'm going to start my back workouts from now on. as many sets as it takes...i think it took me 6 sets...took about 8 minutes. 12, 10, 8, 6, 6, 8 waited a little longer on the last one to get 8 and not have to do another set of like 2 or 3....needles to say my back was fried after this.
- seated rows 120x15, 140x12, 165x10 **PR!!**
- bent over row **did these light with a belt** 95x15, 115x12, 135x10 felt good...focused on contraction
- pullovers 1x15

abs
- hanging leg raises 3x20
- rope crunches 3x25

tre- pics will come at the end of the week.....if i think i look ok lol. i have always done pull ups but usually restrict it to 3-4 sets. now i will begin my back workouts with no less then 50 reps. i did this when i was younger and it really helped my overall strength and development. it def sucked though...after i was done i was like oh my god....i still need to do seated rows and bent over rows lol

-machine squats with back support 120x20, 130x15, 140x12, 150x10 waited about 45 seconds btwn each set

- leg press 180x20, 230x15, 260x12, 310x8 waited about 1 1/2 minutes in between each set

- leg curls 3x20,15,10 waited about 30 seconds btwn each set

- leg extensions 3x12,10,8

was thinking about doing lunges but decided to stretch my back and legs instead...

today's diet

meal 1- ON whey shake ....no oats this morning :(
meal 2- 2 cups of eggwhites
meal 3- ground turkey with mulitgrain pasta
meal 4- 1 can of tuna
PWO - ON whey shake with 1 cup of oats and a banana
meal 5- 4 oz of bison filet with green beans

hahaha...i'm alot more interested in everyone else's progress then my own :chomp: a little weird?

well, my lady is having a rough time. mornigns are the worst for her...she has now been taking xanax everyday for the last 2 weeks. the doc said it was ok if she is struggling that much....she tries not to take it but if that's what she needs to do to function then so be it.

she is taking the celexa...on 30mg right now which is still a small dosage on a mild anti-anxiety med so it will prob be another few weeks the doc said for things to kick in.

i'm doing aight...hanging in there. i just want my best friend back ya know.. thx for asking tre...means alot :)

No problem! I know firsthand how those types of things can disrupt a relationship and how hard it is on the person not going through the feelings and emotions to be understanding! Just hang in there she'll come around :rose:

My wife has had similar problems in the past. The meds are worth it when necessary, to stay on an even keel.

YEAH I AGREE....I'M NOT WANT FOR TAKING MEDS B/C OF MY ADDICTIVE PERSONALITY. I HARDLY EVER TAKE IBPROFEN AND GOD KNOWS I NEED IT WITH MY BACK, SHOUDERS, KNEE ETC. BUT IN THIS CASE I'M ALL FOR HER TAKING SOMETHING TO GET SANE!
 
I'm in a miserable mood this morning as i sat in the puring rain last night only to watch my the gmen eventually hand the game over to the cheating bears. i would just like to say that the game last night was one of the worst officiating jobs i have ever seen! there were at least 4 personal fouls that were not called on the bears....guess someone wanted the bears to win...looks like the fix was in.

today's diet

meal 1 On whey with 1/2 cup of oats

yeah i was telling my fiance last night...i just have to quit drinking. i do it way too much....

gym is going great...diet is going well. no immediate goals so that is prob why i'm pretty much at the same bf right now. you posting pic's you took last night or what? you happy with the progress you have made since hungry?

Glad to hear diet is going well and that you are happy! I'm really happy with my progress since Hungary. I'll post pictures probably in the spring. I don't think posting 20%BF pictures yet will give anything for anybody to go off of. We'll see :)

- dips 3x15,12,12 the dip bars at my gym fawking blow!!! it's this huge contraption and you have to climb up it to get going. the bars are spaced way too wide....pretty sure on normal bars i could get like 18.

yeah i know...to be honest it was pure laziness. i was at the giant game late sunday night and i was hungover yesterday...to be honest i was surprised my workout went as well as it did. almost puked a few times during the dips and pullups lol. thx tre...i need my berls busted!!!!

leg presses 180x20, 260x15, 330x12 i put my feet at the top of the platform to get my hams involved more but it just ends up hurting my back...tre/bunz- i noticed that my pelvis moves fwrd as well...not sure what i should do here. don't want to use the lower platform bc my quads are getting enough work for them to grow. my leg curl machine at my gym blows goats that's why i use the top platform here..suggestions?

Why dont you give treils method a try, with doing the partial reps and retrain your body to not activate the back and work your way back up with the weight?

She left a detailed post in her log, replying to my little happenings with the extra padding on my back side. May wanna ask her for specifics. Usually when the weight is too heavy I can feel either my back arch or pelvis tilt up, so I lower the weight and make sure my back does not move from the pad. If you ever see single leg presses in my log that's why, Ill work both individually usually since I have imbalance issues, the LP seems to aggravate it more than sqauting but my issue is in the hips, not the back.
 
gotcha!! well i have imbalances as well...my right leg def has more muscle then my left from my knee surgeries...it's not too noticeble but of course i notice it. i've always though if i just kept trainign them they would eventually even up...hasn't been the case. think i just do them unilaterally?

Haha...it's Surprisingly A Good Machine For People With Fawked Up Backs. It's Better Then Using A Smith That's For Sure.

You can try that and see if it works for you, just make sure the weight is equal. I can totally feel one side overpowering sometimes so I have to correct myself or I decide to train them sep.

They have one of those at my gym from MTS called the V squat. I also have down unweighted Single legs when Im bored lol ...

just my 2cents :) I do mine seperate because in keeps my back down and my left leg was considerably stronger than my right and I notice a huge difference now. I always use the weight that my right leg can handle and now they are damn near even! I do it for leg curls as well.

Just food for thought.... Have you done any external rotation type of exercise to hit the Infra and Supra muscles (rotators in the shoulder)?? If not it would not hurt to add that in. Especially with your shoulder instability and discrepancies going on.

Chicago is def. a strange city when it comes to loyal fans no matter who is winning or how bad the teams may suck at times. You should come here one day. My bro's friend have a flippy cup team lol (that's what they call it I know you have the formal name, you & Sarge), when I saw the pic of their tourney I thought of you b/c I'm still trying to figure out the bean bag (cornhole) game :D

and there are 2 games...there is flip cup and there is beirut. i only play flip cup when hot girls are involved...not really my game :rainbow: beirut is the game where you use ping pong berls! :heart: this i take seriously and have even gotten into some Ssssserious altercations in tournaments i have entered lol.

i love playing flip cup when girls are around (they tend to get a bit hammered from it) and beirut is the true man's beer pong..

cornhole is the game with the beanbag, its pretty fun too but it seems its pretty much isolated to certain regions.

im going to the pitt vs wvu game tonight, im sure ill see all of these in action :)

meal 3 steamed chicken with peppers and brown rice

meal 4 1 can of tuna

PWO shake On whey with banana, strawberries and 1/2 cup of oats

thx ck...ended up making an appointment for dec 11 to get the shot...apparently i can't eat anything for 6 hours prior...that sucks!!! my appointment is for 8:30 am...so i'm thinking i may set my alarm at like 1:30 and down a huge shake...either that or eat silly before bedtime...

yesterday's training

chest
- hammer strength 90x15, 120x12, 135x10, 145x6, 90x8 (drop set)
- flat db press 60x12, 60x12, 60x12
superset w/ flat flyes 25x15, 25x12, 25 x12
-bw dips 2x15

back
- pullups i couldn't do 50 reps yesterday after finshing chest with dips...i'll have to try and get used it...i did about 34 in 4 sets i think...12,8,7,7

reverse grip pull downs 100x15, 120x12, 140x10 my grip kept getting f'd up...but for the mst part is was ok...need a different attachement next time

btn pull downs 120x15, 140x10, 140x10 (haven't done these in a while...felt fuggin awesome!!)

one arm seated rows 3x12 i started doing these b/c my right side of my back is a little less developed...i think it's either the infraspinatus, rhomboid major or the teres minor mainly due to my shoulder surgery i had. i def over comensated with my left and i can feel the right side of my back start to burn when doing chest exercises...tre what you think?

abs -hanging leg raises and rope crunches

Yeah those are good, and make sure to do some external rotation exercise that I decsribed and u posted up that picture before of. Could also do Lat UNI d-handle pull downs.

ok cool...thx tre!! :) i figure doing the uni is better then using both arms...sometimes i can feel my left taking over and pulling harder then the right...and then i have to adjust.
 
i'm going to attempt to post yesterdays diet on here...just for my records really.

meal 1 On whey shake (no oats...knew i would get plenty of carbs in later)

meal 2 about 1/2 pound of supersotta, salted mozz, roated red peppers, provolone, and imported prosciutto (this shit was $20 a pound but man it was like eating filet mignon...well worth it!)

meal 3 shrimp

meal 4 stuffing

meal 5 1 turkey leg, 4 buttered biscuts, more stuffing

meal 6 meat and cheese lasagna

meal 7 5 almond cookies and and some cheesecake

i don't think i have ever felt this crappy in my life from eating...i don't know how people can eat like shit all the time...it's great while your eating but then 20 minutes later it seems like your hungry again and you feel terrible. anyway...just wanted to write it all down...i'm not plugging in the macros but i have to assume its going to be around 7000 cals lol

i did hit the gym twice on wednesday though...trained shoulders early around 10 am and then did 25 minutes on the elliptical later that night.

hope everyone enjoyed their holiday :)

I'm going to do a full body pump, muscle glycogen burning fest at the gym today, shhhh don't tell the training forum LOL!... I think I ate enough sugar to kill a few thousand diabetics :worried:

i have to do arms today but i'm thinking i may just do 30 seconds rest after each set to kill all that fawking sugar! then do some HIIT!

It was o.k... My brother does not know how to cook a turkey. :lmao: I didn't have the heart :heart:to tell him it was still raw!!!! So I ended up eating a couple bites telling him it was good, hid my plate and tossed it.
