shopping trolley lol!!! is that the term out there? we say shopping cart or wagon...but i think i'm going to start saying trolley now! my fiance always makes fun of me b/c i call it a wagon....now i'm goign to start in with this trolley buisness :p

working all day....eating all day...and then my fiance has a doctors appointment and then dinner i think....so on nights like these i like to have what i call independence parties. now that she lives with me i hardly ever have any private time in my apt....so i'll prob watch some sports classics on tv in the living room which i am never allowed to do...friends and everybody loves raymond is the required viewing there...maybe make one blender drink or have a guiness and relax until the whore gets back.

today's weight is 170lbs....been fluctuating around 168-170 for the past week or so...bf guessing at 10% i'll have to use my little gadget tonight and see. i was just about 8% or so at 163....i really want to get to 7% this time at the same weight...we'll see what happens.

today's diet

meal 1
- ON whey with 1/4 cup of oats
- 1 gluc, vits, and green tea

meal 2
- 3 whole eggs + 1 cup of eggwhites


meal 3
- 5 oz dijon mustard chicken w/ wild rice

meal 4
- 1 can of tuna

PWO On whey....just cardio today so no carbs post

meal 5
- more fawking chicken...prob with some multigrain pasta and green beans

meal 6
- cutting this out i think....2 tbsp of anpb (i've been good bunz :verygood: ) but when i wake up the next day without having the anpb i feel tighter and def look tighter so i think it got the axe as of this post!

macros will be around 2100 today

i did arms today...just got back and downed my PWO shake....still starving but gonna wait that 1 hour to eat again. first time i have done mor then 4 sets of of bi's and tri's in months so wasn't quite sure of what the volume should be. i stopped when i thought i should stop. anyway....here it goes

bi's
- standing curls 60x5, 80x5, 90x5, 100x5, 110x5 ..wish i could say this was a PR b/c it sure felt fawking heavy...but it wasn't. not quite sure how long i'm suppossed to rest in btwn those light sets of 5....the first 3 are kind of a joke and i wait about 1 minute before i go back in....the last 2 sets i waited about 1-2 minutes.

- standing db curls 40x12, 45x10

- one arm preacher 30x10, 35x6

- concentration curls 25x12, 30x10

tri's
- pushdowns 3x12,10,8 the weight is all screwed up on the cable machines...not really sure the exact weight....i finished my last set at 80lbs...which is 2 racking it...i think it's prob like 140lbs or something...not sure. all i know is that my triceps have def gotten stronger in the past year....partly b/c my shoudlers have been feeling better and i'm able to do more weight...

- skull crushers 70x15, 80x12, 90x10

- bench dips did these free weight b/c the freaking plate wasn't sitting right on my lap...so i did 2x25 ....let me tell you something...i def didn't need the weight to get a good workout in

abs

hanging leg raises 3x15

rope crunches 3x20


overall great workout....i'm sure i'll be sore tomorrow b/c of the volume change...but i welcome it. hoepfully they won't be too sore where i can't drive my new 4runner out of the dealer's lot tomorrow! :chomp:

chest ****absolutely hate training chest b/c of my shoulders!
- hammer strength 4x15,12,8,6

- incline smith machine 135x20, 155x15, 175x12, 185x10, 205x3 racked it b/c my shoulders felt extremely uncomfortable...if my shoulders felt good would have been able to do 7 easy

-db flyes 20x15, 25x12, 30x8 ran the rack on these....maybe about 15 seconds rest in btwn tops.

-cable crossovers 1x12

pretty pissed b/c i knew i could do more and my chest needed to do more but y shoulders saidd enough for today....so i went and trained back like a mad man!

back

- pull ups did this with palms facing each other...much harder i think then wide grips i think. 3x15,11,9 waited about 1 minute in between...was very surprised i got 9 on the last one since my rest period was short.

- seatd rows 120x15, 140x12, 165x9

- hammer strength rows 3x15,12,10

- lat spreads (no clue what the name of this exercise is lol) 1x15

calves
leg press machine 180x15, 230x12, 270x12

abs
- hanging leg raises 3x15-20
- rope crunches 3x25 actually lowered the weight and did more reps instead of 12 concentrated ones where i hold for 3 seconds...def felt better for some reason.

5 minutes on the elliptical

i always switch...sometime i use the close grip handle...sometimes i'll use the wide grip (lat pull down attachment)...if i use that one i'll usually do 4 sets...2 overhand grip and 2 underhand. i don't lean in with my back anymore either..sucks b/c you don't get that stretch of the lats but whatever....i stick my chest out and just pull....easier on the back.

ok cool.... nice, yeah deff can't lean forward and stress the lumbar. I'll have to remember to stretch my back out more.

I think i'm going to use an under grip and "shorty" straight bar.
 
yep...i use the shorty too. rows is prob my favorite back exercise...i can go pretty heavy on those without stressing my back...i lean back a little with my chest sticking out and pull baby!

also, try doing bent over rows on the cables with some leverage....i can go pretty heavy on those as well if i get in the right position. key here is contracting....

yes...absolutely. i have learned how to position my legs and my abs when doing these sort of exercise to take the strain off my back...if it hurts...don't do it. pick up lighter weigth and figure out how to postion your body...you may look like a birdbrain but if it gets the job done who gives a shit right??? lol

If you have left over energy, I see no reason why not.

But light cardio tomorrow would be good for active recovery to get some oxygen flowing too.

I like doing cardio after legs, like a cool down, 10-20 minutes on the bike or something. I have been known to sprint after legs too :evil: lol

calories are too low....that's my concern....low cals + cutting = muscle loss....don't be afraid of carbs bro esp. in the am and post training.....get em up....3/4th cup oats in the morning, 1 cup post wo....lower your protein, but always have pcf in every meal, exc. nix fats post wo and nix carbs prebed...

good feedback....i'm at about 100g of carbs a day....usually have most of them pwo and in the am...i agree i should be eating more carbs but at the moment i've only been doing about 1-2 hours of cardio a week....if i up my carbs to around 150 i need to do at least 2 hours to continue to see progress in bf...just haven't had the time the past few weeks that is why my carbs have been kept at this level.

yesterday's training!

legs :evil:

- machine squats (supported back) 100x20, 110x20, 120x15, 140x12, 150x10 not really sure how these correlate to real weights but those were the numbers...i know they are def low but not looking to gain strength here...the last set felt very heavy on my knee....any heavier would have been to much stress i think. it's all about hypertrophy righ now.

- leg presses 90x20, 180x15, 230x12, 270x10, 270x10 i def want to get these numbers up as i feel my knee is not that much of an issue on these...

- one leg extensions 2x10 can def tell that my right leg is stronger when i do these together...so i've been isolating them good idea???

- leg curls 2x20

cardio - 10 minutes on stationary.

i actually like the way they taste in my shake...2 scoops of ON whey vanilla with some oats and an ice cube...perfect!!

Yea but i was cooking the oats on the stove, and threw in scoop..its was nasty! I'll have to try the shake deal~

no bus incidents yet this week...but it may be the most nerve racking part of my day lol

shoulders

- front military presses 95x20, 125x15, 135x12, 145x10, 155x8 did this pretty close grip...elbows tucked in...anteriors were screaming! :evil:

- db presses 50x6, 55x6, 60x6, 45x10 used this as a drop set i was surprised how heavy they felt...i kind of rushed into them right after front presses....i think that is why...i waited about 1 1/2 minutes. anyway i thought i would get 50's at least 12x....i think it's also a combo of my diet...weighing around 168. i didn't like the feeling so i'm going to up my carbs a bit and just try and squeeze in a little more cardio.

- side laterals 30x15, 35x12

- one arm cable side laterals 2x15

Quality workout bro... the 45x10 is a GREAT backoff set for hypertropy :)

Hmm.... ok. I actually worked up from 65's (Dumbbells) to shrugging 115's for 10 last night :verygood: i'll post what i did later when i have my journal in front of me.

those military fronts... seated or standing?? Quality weight you're moving there!!

thx bro....that last set killed me. drop sets have always helped me build some soild muscle post heavy lifitng

i tried doing standing a few weeks ago...i started with 95 then got up to 115 and stopped on like my 3rd rep...way too much stress on my back.

as long as the db's shrugs felt fine i'd say continue to go heavy! :coffee:

I like drop set also!!!

O.k. I'll have to freeze it then before I can force feed it 2 ya, lol
They all want girl scout cookies... don't want the cake. We have every kind here sitting out on the counter. My favorites :chomp: Actually I feel no pull to any junk food though.. cravings have been gone since I started on this clean bulk. I had one craving for Bleu cheese but that is gone. I think SBT really helps assist in that department. We make food more fun coming up with stuff, and we officially started on our Recipe book!!! So it'll be quite some time, but it's going to be HUGE I tell ya, lol

will not be logging prob til next sat or sunday...going to florida tonight with the woman...i have a lot to do so not sure if i'll get to post diet and training today...going to be a little hectic as i still haven't packed yet. leaving work at 1:30 and then cathing my flight from newark at 5:30 :) can't wait to relax and read a few books this week aaaahh!! hope everybody has a great week!

hello everyone....jp's back! :)

basically my vacation sucked....weather was horrible and the woman had non stop panic attacks since last thursday so we cut our vacation short and came home late wednesday night.

she just went back on anxiety medication after 6 months of being off it...she was doing great and then i think planning this whole wedding thing set her anxiety off big time...anyway she's struggling getting back on track with the meds...which is making my life miserable as well....

anyway...trained like a mad man b/c there was nothing else to do down there....only made it to the beach once. one day i trained twice and then went or a 1 hour walk lol

i have no pics to post b/c she didn't even leave the house....i took a few funny ones on halloween with my camara phone but uuuuhhh they had to be erased lol

hope everyone had a better week then me....anyway tons of things to do today so i'll prob post my morning workout and diet later. yes i lifted in the am!!! granted it was 9 not 4:30 but it was still the morning which makes me believe i can do it at that time during the week when i have off. :chomp:

I am sorry to hear the vaca sucked, when is your wedding again??? That is why hubby and I eloped in Vegas, it was AWESOME and no stress except a little from the family cause they weren't there but they got over it.

Your italian though, right??? I know there will be no eloping for you.

this morning's weight 170lbs.....9.8%bf....even though my diet was a little spotty the past week i did about 5 hours of cardio out of pure boredom....not including lifting so i think that saved me :)

didn't cook last night at all so i just took a few cans of tuna for 2 of my meals :(
