Well again, tanita scales don't measure exactly the same thing as calipers. Calipers only get the skin fold pinch. Tanita scales are measuring impedence throughout the body, thus including all the internal fat as well. Plus they are sensitive to the amoutn of water, electrolytes, etc. in your system.

Walked down to the Health & Fitness Fair....walked around -- got 3 bags of free samples!!

~ 1/4 cup Cole Slaw

** They had Body Fat testing at the fair via calipers & a large Tanita Scale. (It's a $3,000 scale according to the guy @ the booth)
Body Fat = 35.6% on the $3,000 Tanita Scale
Body Fat = 27% via calipers :mad:

3:50pm
1/2 oz peanuts

7pm
2.5 oz grilled shrimp
4.5 oz grilled chicken
Green salad with 1 oz each radish & celery + 2 tblsp cheese + 2 tblsp Newman's Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing
~ 1/2 cup chopped broccoli

8:15pm
3 Strawberries with FF Cool Whip
1/3 cup SF/FF pudding

**Could not sleep {again!!}, so I snacked. :rolleyes:

1am-ish
Some AN-almond butter
Some trail mix (nuts + raisins)
1 Skinny Cow Ice cream sandwich

Totals: 2008 cals, 79g fat/37% (19g sat, 16g poly, 29g mono), 22g fiber, 158g carb/29%, 162g protein/34%

Well, I'm not sure the calipers were correct either as he only did the following sites: Tricep, Bicep, abdomen, back. No legs at all.

And one thing I'm curious about the caliper anyway -- what if it's a skin fold pinch & there's just a lot of skin but not a lot of fat?? Will the result be skewed??

Plus -- the booth at the fair was set up to get people to join their gym, so would they measure it higher for "sales" purposes??

(coffee tasted awful -- tossed most of it. Blech!)

**Prolly won't be able to lift my arms tomorrow!! ;)

Hypers w/25lb DB: 3x15
Decline Crunches w/25lb Plate: 3x15

Walked home -- 30 mins
HR monitor shows 274 cals burned

2 tblsp Newman's Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing + ACV
Takeout Greek Salad
(lettuce, 6 Kalamata Olives, tomato, pepper, cucumber, Feta cheese)
1 calcium chew + 1 Glucosamine/Chondroiten
1 Diet 7UP
