Okay so here it is: I feel like pure utter garbage which means the carb depletion is working and guess what today is my last day.. .YEEHHHHHHAAAA... Tomorrow it is back to carbohydrates!!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe... oatmeal and Yams!!!! they are calling my name!!! :p

Anyhow woke up at 7am and shut the alarm off and slept until 8:45 ...jumped out of bed to catch the 9am soccer game Japan v. Australia... took 2 GNC Thermo Cardio System and got my ass to the gym.. did 1 hour of cardio and burned 530 calories...

meal 1 10:15am: post workout shake: 3 straws. 2 scoops of pp & 10 almonds

meal 2 12:45pm: 6 whites & 15 almonds

meal 3 2:45pm: 1 scoop of pp w/ 2 straw & 2 oz peanuts

meal 4 4:45pm: 5 whites

5:30pm: trained legs.. no cardio (was feeling really shitty so trainer said go home)..

6:45pm: post workout shake ( and finally got to cook my chicken..lol)

9:00pm: FISH 6 oz tilapia w/ spinach salad...

10:30pm: SLEEP :verygood:

I am out!!!

Wake: 7am - 2 GNC Cardio Thermo system tabs

7:20am: 1 hour of cardio: 40 mins on dreadmill burned 425 calories & 20 mins on arc trainer burned 250 calories= 675 cal. burned

8:20am: 2 glucorells

8:45am: post workout shake :1.5 pp w/ 3 strawberries & 1/4 cup of oatmeal w/ 1/2 cup of pp & 1 tsp flaxseed oil :p

10:30am: 1 glucorell

11:00am: 5 whites & 1 yolk & 1/4 cup of oatmeal

1:00pm: 3.5 oz grilled chick & 4 oz of yam & 1/2 cup of spinach

3:00pm: same as meal 3

5:00pm: Chest & Tri's - 30 mins cardio

6:00pm: Post work out shake: 2 scoops of pp w/ 1 cup of berries

6:30pm: BEACH VOLLEY BALL LEAGUE STARTS TODAY>>> ;) will let everyone know how that goes!! Very excited

8:30pm: 6 oz tilapia w/ spinach

June 14th

**Okay get this I was totally wiped yesterday from my very active day of cardio and weight training and beach volleyball that I passed out at 9:30pm** Well I am wide awake @ 2:30am and didnt fall back to sleep until 4:30am and yes well imagine what I did???? I ate 4 oz of chicken & 5 egg whites and 2 oz of peanuts... :evil: :worried: :evil: .... I guess I was hungry!!! Anyhow here is what today looks like so far!!


Wake: 8:20am: 2 GNC Cardio Thermo Systems

8:30am: 5.3 mile trail

9:20am: 2 Glucorells

9:45am meal 1: 1 scoop of pro performance whey & 3 straws & 1/4 cup of oatmeal w/ 1/2 cup of pp :p Then off to the beach!!!! ;)

11:45am meal 2: 3.5oz yam 1/2 cup of spinach & 3.5 oz grilled chicken

12:45pm: feeling hungry so I had 10 almonds

2:30pm meal 3: 2 cups of lettuce w/ 4oz of chicken & 5 pc of boiled shrimp w/freshly squeezed lemon on top :p (and home from the beach)

5:00pm meal 4: 4 oz grilled chicken w/ 2 cup of lettuce & balsamic vinegar & oil & 1/4 cup of oatmeall w/ some protein powder in it and 1 oz peanuts ;)

6:30pm: Back & Abs & 1 hour of cardio

8:00pm meal 5: Post workout shake w/ 4 oz yam :p

10pm: 6 oz tilapia

10:30pm: SLEEP :verygood:

Def...some changes....but I dont think I will post pics up again until my next decarb!!... Gonna wait... or perhaps I might surprise you guys ;)

Felt good to run again and pump out my 5 mile run... lol... totally can not even think of doing that without carbs in the system!!!

Remember, the carb up fills you out, & may even make you look better, since you seem to be your own worst critic !!! :D

Take some pics for you, just to have as side by sides ... the day after I was full, muscles popped, I couldn't see it until I posted it ... so next year you can say ... ok carb up last year looked like *this* & have them for your reference, even if you never post ... document :)

Okay here was yesterday

Wake: 7am- 2 cardio thermo systems

8:45am: 1 1/2 scoop of pp w/ 3 strawberries & 1/3 cup of oatmeal w/ 1/2 cup of pp :p

9:20am: met up with my colleague and did some manual labor by cleaning out our company's storage unit moved heavy boxes .... counts as burned calories right..lol..

10:45am: 4 whites 1 yolk & 1/4 cup of oatmeal :p

12:30pm: 4 oz grilled chick & 2 cup of lettuce w/balsamic vingr & oil & 2 oz peanuts

2:30pm: 10 almonds

3:00pm: 1 hour & 20 mins of cardio (during world cup game Sweden v. Paraguay) burned 700 calories :evil: ;)

4:45pm: 1 cup of berries & 2 scoop of pp (post workout shake)

6:30pm: 1 cup of broccoli & 3/5 oz chicken

**got all dolled up and went to a graduation dinner at a nice rest w/friends**

8:45pm: 3 oz grilled sushi grade tuna steak w/ string beans!! :p (restaurant was able to accomodate me)... ;)

10:45pm: SLEEP

The guy that sits by me at work has been a soccer referree forever. He refs public games, high school games, etc etc. I'll see what soccer pics he might have. ;)

3:00pm: 3 oz grilled chick 5 pcs of boiled shrimp & 1 cup of salad

5:00pm: 15 almonds

6:30pm: 4 oz grilled chick 1 cup of lettuce

8:00pm: 4 oz grilled chick w/1 cup of cauliflower w/ balsamic vingr & oil & 10 almonds & 3 small strawberries

10pm: GOING OUT TONIGHT W/ GIRLS !!! Dancing!!! Should burn more calories doing so while sipping on my bottled water or diet coke ;)

Tomorrow going to a wedding!!! FUN!!!!

9:00am-12:00pm Busy w/ work (had cup of coffee to curb hunger)

12:00pm meal 2: 2 green tea capsules 2 cup of lettuce w/ 2.5 oz of grilled turkey & 2 egg whites & 1 yolk

3:30pm meal 3: 5 whites & 1 oz peanuts & 1 mango

4:00pm: Legs & abs & 1 hour of cardio (burned 675 calories on cardio alone)

7:00pm meal 4: 4 oz of grilled Tuna steak & 2 cups of lettuce

9:00pm meal 5: same as above meal

10:30pm: SLEEP ;)

Hi Ischia!! I have started reading through your journal and was wondering (I hope this hasn't been brought up yet but..) why you add a fat post workout?

I always read (even on a keto diet) that you never ever add a fat post, only hi GI carb and fast digesting protein. The fat only slows down the absobtion of the nutrients.

I can't wait to catch up on your journal.. but it's going to be quite the read!!

Hi Jacqueine,

Thx for the post!! Yes your are right about to never add a fast post workout, however the above meal you are referring to has less than 10grams of carbs and it was on a day that I was carb depleting therefore my calories come from my fats & proteins. Otherwise on days that are moderate-high carbs I do not have fats in my post workout shake but rather at the end of the day w/ a source of protein and not carb.

Hope this clears it up for you.

10:30pm: Going out w/girls tonight into the big city...going dancing... will execute more dancing... yay!!!

meal 2: 2:00pm: 2 cups of romain lettuce & 4 oz grilled chick w. balsamic vingr & 1 tsp olive oil

4:00pm: Legs & 30 mins cardio

5:30pm: Grilled chick & veggies

6:30pm: Beach volleyball!!!!

8:00pm: Grilled chicken salad....

10pm: Sleep

6pm: Shoulders

7pm meal 5: grilled chick & broccoli

9pm meal 6: Tilapia

MMMM cinnamon egg whites, can't wait for that meal tonight now :chomp: Aww its going good hun... thank you for asking :D Legs are a little sore today though... I always put my training in my log though silly in case you ever get a spare sec to check it out ;)

Hi Buns!!! I am hungry!!!!...LOL.. legs have come down a lot!!! Very psyched but I have been doing up to almost 2 hours of cardio a day!!!... I put some carbs in but only when needed!! but still always under 50grams!!!... I feel okay mentally just a bit tired!!

How have u been?? I love it when u check up on me!! so have u been watching the world cup??? Italy is in the finals!!!... Yipeeeeeeeeeeeee

I can't guarantee that I'll be able to help you out backstage....I'd like to be able to but I'm not sure what Bruce is going to be having me do.....Hopefully I won't be stuck on ticket sales/money stuff so I can help out......

JULY 16th!!!

MORNING AFTER SHOW 9:30am: 1/3 CUP OF OATS 3 EGG WHITES & 2 TBLSPN OF PB LEFT OVER FROM YESTERDAY'S SHOW....lol

12:00pm: 1 cup of asparagus & 4 oz chick

3pm: oreo cookies, ben & jerrys chocolate icecream, twix. keeblers soft chewy choc. chip cookies.....

*** Currently feel disgusting....lol...***

No more sweets for the rest of the day back on pre comp dieting & training tomorrow!!!

**Plan to go to the gym today to train legs & execute 1 hour of cardio!!

FYI: Took 3 days off from the gym... and ate well.... Went back into the gym today... Felt GREAT!!! Trained legs... & executed 1 hour of interval cardio ;)

Cooked my meals for tomorrow... and here is what it will look like:

Wake: 7:45am: 2 GNC Cardio thermo system & 1/4 cup of oatmeal w/ 1/2 scoop of oatmeal... to hold me over..

8:30am: Body Pump Class- overall weight training for the body low weight & high reps..

9:30am: 1 hour spin class

10:30pm meal 1 : Post work out shake: 2 scoops of whey & 1 cup of berries w/ 2 almonds

12:30pm meal 2: 1/4 cup of oatmeal w/ 5 whites

3:00pm meal 3: 4 oz grilled chick w/ whipped broccoli (looks like mashed pot) & 2 almonds

5:00pm meal 4: Same as meal 3

7:00pm meal 5: same as meal 4

7:30pm: bi's & tri's & 30mins cardio

9:00pm: Post workout shake

10pm: SLEEP!!!!

BTW: Next show will be October 21st..looking to drop another 10-15 lbs....

AAAAAAAHhhhhhhhhhh Its 1:00am and I have to be up @ 4:45am so I can do cardio @ 5:30am!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....fell asleep at 11pm and wide awake at midnight...anyhow thought I would post em up!!

Wake: 4:45

5:30am: Cardio 60 mins on dreadmill waking on 10%-15%-20% incline Spd: 3.5-4.3 burned 825 calories & 1 liter of water

6:45 meal 1 post work out: 2 scoops of GF Pro Whey protein Isolate & 1 tbspn of PB

9:30am meal2: 5 whites w/splenda & cinn. & 2 cups of coffee & 1 liter of water

12:15pm meal3: 4 oz salmon w/ 1 cup lettuce & balsamic vingr

3:00pm meal4: Grilled chick salad w/balsamic vingr

5:00pm: Come home from work and will most likely take a nap...

6:30pm meal5: Grilled chick w/ 1 cup of broccoli

7:00pm: Shoulders & 40 mins of cardio

9:00pm: 6oz tilapia & 5 almonds

10:30pm: HOPEFULLY SLEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.... okay thats a wrap..

The next show will be Oct. 21st : Golds Classic I believe it is held in Lakewood or Brick New Jersey.. .not sure will let you know...

So how r u feeling... How much longer do you have to wear the air cast for???.. thx for checking in on me... I really appreciate it... Hopefully I will be 15lbs lighter next time u see me...

I have to wear the knee brace anytime I'm out in public or exercising....it's derotational which prevents my knee from improperly twisting so I won't tear my graft.....

Hopefully I can come see you at your next show!!
 
I have to give a big thank you to Ischia. She was a major help backstage and all day long at my show yesterday not only for me but our other friend competing in figure as well. Thanks babe :heart: !

Hey all...

I am back.... I know i havent posted in a while but things have been hectic and today is my last day of "off season vacation"..... Tomorrow I am officially 12 wks out from my next show and I am back on pre comp dieting hard core.... since I am beyond my half way point weight wise I will probably allow one small cheat meal once a week until I am about 9-8 wks..... we will have to see what type of progress I make.....

Anyhow tonight I am going to an italian restaurant for my last cheat supper..lol..Will post up the menu and excersises tomorrow...

Hi Guys...

Sorry havent posted in like forever but work has been busy.... Anyhow here was yesterdays stats:

Wake: 8am- 2 cardio breezes

8:30am: 1 hour cardio walking on incline burned 725 calories then went straight into my shoulder workout....

10:45ammeal 1: post work out shake 2 scoops of whey 1/4 cup of blueberries & mango slices, ice & water.. 2 rice cakes w/ 1 tbspn anpb... ( i was still hungry so I threw those in there),.

1:00pm meal 2: 3 oz grilled chick w/ 1 cup of smashed broccoli & 4 oz yam

4:00pm meal 3: same as meal 2

7:00pm meal 4: same as meal 2 but no yam

10:00pm: Went to a bbq had grilled shark and salad ;)

** I saw the request for recipes and I will post them in the cooking thread later on this week***

So how was the shark? Never had it, but always wanted to try it.
 
Ischia's got some good stuff in the works right now, she if going to have a much improved look on Oct 21 for her next show.
