Is it bad to train heavy chest if you have saline implants?

I feel like I have a leak, or my breast are just getting smaller from fat loss. I read somewhere that you shouldn't train chest if you have implants. Any truth to this??

Yes, you can train heavy if you have implants. If you have a leak is a different story, then for that matter it wouldn't matter whether you train or not. That means you have to change your implant. In terms of fat in your breast tissues; your breast will get smallet only if you don't have implants. There's no relevance with bf and breast implants.

Are they under or over the muscle?

Over the muscle, no issue whatsoever.

Under the muscle, if you are concerned, just for your own mental well-being, go back to your surgeon.

That being said, I think they are designed and tested in such a way to take a HUGE amount of pressure.

You still have fat on your breasts which will fluctuate.

I do know one FBBer who swears she flattened hers out by training chest heavy, hers were under the muscle.

If they are under the muscle they will drop more quickly as they will slip out of their pockets.

Implants are designed to take an insane amount of pressure. No training will cause them to leak/rupture. If that is the case then it will be due to product defect and not something you did in the gym.

mine are under. I always tried not to train chest, but feel very unproportioned, so I started doing it this year...Maybe it is fat loss? Thanks 4 the responses though my mind is more at ease!

Are they both seeming like that are a bit smaller? I could see fat loss being the culprit then. Unless you see a noticeable difference in size from one breast to the other.

It is fat loss, I believe because it is in both! I am wondering how a Dr. would check to see if there were a slow leak though since it is saline?

ultra-sound.

I also do not train chest very heavy. Not becuase i think an implant would burst- but because increasing your chest muscles makes your implants look bad...it causes a ridge bet your breasts & pushes the implants to the side-
