Introducing .... the newest EF member!

6 week post partum doctor appt was fine .... I am down 15 lbs, so I still have 12 lbs left to get to pre-PG weight .... although I would like to lose 20 lbs more. Of course, my appt was at 4:00pm after eating all day - so maybe I have lost more than that, hahaha. Doc cleared me for everything, sex AND working out. :)

Since I am breastfeeding, I *shouldn't* get a period (or ovulate), but that is not reliable. So I am going on the mini-pill for BC - at least for now. He gave me info on an IUD, so I am going to look into getting one.

ANd, of course, EVERYONE said Rachel is adorable. :) Doc said she has the fattest cheeks ... I LOVE baby cheeks!

Here is a funny - very close - picture

I promise you, even though you ARE the MOMMY....she is SO CUTE!!! My daughter is 17 now (makes me feel old to say, but I was a youngun @ 17 myself), and I still remember all her cute little expressions and mannerisms (sp). DG, enjoy her....she'll grow so fast.....:(

NICE! Yay for everything OK'D!
Do you have any plans yet as to what you are going to start? Post Baby Training etc?

Started working out the last few weeks, just lightly, trying to get back into it, trying to get to know my current limits.

Next week starts a "clean-ish" diet and more steady working out. Not sure if I am going to do a log ..... we'll see. If I do start one, I doubt it will be updated daily, I am scatterbrained lately. And I am not sure if I will include pics yet.

Rachel is doing really well, I am having a lot of difficulty knowing I am going back to work in a week and a half and she will be in daycare. I love my daycare choice, but I am really upset at leaving her. Everyday since she was born she has seen me all day, and we have spent the dy together. I worry about missing her, her missing me, her being confused at being "dropped off" somewhere strange, and me just missing out on her day. I want to go back to work, but I can't help but feel I am missing so much. I cry daily about it. :(

A lighter note ... she is smiling a lot now, cooing and making all kinds of gurgles. I can now recognize her "fake" cries - the "pay some attention to me" ones. Her 2 month appt is Friday 9am - FOUR SHOTS - ugh. I think all day Friday I will be snuggling with her!
