InDemand movie channels

I've had HBO, Shotime, Cinemax, TMC for a long time.. but never bothered with the InDemand service.

This service lets you play any of their current programming at any time.. works for movies, shows, sports, anything they are running in the current season.

So I never thought it was worth the extra 6.95 because
1) HBO alone has 8 channels
2) they replay everything all the time right?

Well I got it and its awesome. I am a huge sopranos fan.. and right now they are replaying the 3rd season. I can play any episode from the entire season anytime I want.. i can fast forward.. rewind.. pause it anc ome back to it later.. its pretty damn cool.

I`d still rather have the card that gives you all the channels including porn 24/7 for free. lol I love watching the local news in a place 3000 miles away. lol

How often does yours go out...mine is like every week.

I have digital cable... from what i understand there isn't a card that does that.

There is a filter you can hook up to your box which will work, temporarily.. but it will catch up to you.

Basically the movies are sent at one range of frequencies and the billing information is sent from your box back to the cable company at a different frequency.

So you put this filter on and the movies and shows come through, but the billing information stays on your box.

here is the problem... the stuff stays on the box and tries to resend... eventually you will fill the memory and your box will lock up. Your cable company will come and you will have to take the filter off. When you do this.. BAM! All the billing info is sent back to the cable company and your next will be will be HUNDREDS! (My normal cable bill is already $150 per month)..

So now people are trying to figure out how to erase or flash the memory on the box.. without disabling it totally.... that is the key for this solution to work.

I am not sure how a card would work in digital boxes.. in analog boxes it worked because ALL the channels were sent to you, it was just that some were scrambled.. with digital, not all programming is sent to you.. its not actually sent until you order it.

my $150 a month also includes cable modem service.. but yeah its a big ripoff.

Sorry Lestat, I was talking about Satellite TV. Although, Digital cable is the only way I would go if I did cable, because the picture quality is supposed to be on par with the Sat`s.

That`s alot of money you spend per month, Damn. I buy alot of payperview movies and the most was like 120 -140 per month.

I`m sure they`ll figure out the "fix" for the digital cable box at some point. lol Believe me it`s worth saving $150/month. Wow $1800 year. lol
