I think this board needs a MOD overhaul......

Let me first say I am not here to disrespect anyone.....I in no way think I should be a MOD......That is not the intention of the thread....I've just think that many of the MODs are just not here and there are others that deserve to hold the title.....Some examples follow and these in no way are personal attacks....I have nothing aginst them and don't doubt for a second that they are good bros......they are mearly observations after having been around awhile and not recognizing them as having made contributions to the board since I've been here.....I realize just because they don't post does not mean they aren't here but others really know there shit and are always around......Conan69-18 posts in 2002, Danielson- 2 posts, Genome- 10 posts, Mattthe skywalker- 2 posts......Again, I realize post count doesn't mean shit but these guys are just not around and I feel others deserve to have the chance to moderate this board.....I hope I haven't offended anyone, just making an observation....Peace

I was actually thinkin about this yesterday. I understand that many of these mods work behind the scenes so to speak. I dont think a mod title is really a big deal, but as gilly said there are many members on the board who contribute a great deal and deserve the title.

People that come to mind are jc21, Mike P.T., The Almighty. ;)

Pretty much any member except gilly6993.

Agreed, me too, these boards are great to hang out and learn information, without having assholes coming in and messing it up. I know alot of people here have helped me out, off the top of my head I think The Almighty, The Terminator, Jc21 and even warbird should be made mods, they are great bros and would do a good job I am sure.
 
I agree and I nominate Genarr3, The Almighty, and Bouncer for Mod status on the Anabolic Board.

They are all here OFTEN. They contribute.

For some reason I assumed bouncer was already a mod here which is why I didnt mention him as well. Either that or I completely despise him...one of the two.

have any of you current mods talked to George lately? i would like to hear what he has to say about the mods that never contribute to the board. this is a great place to learn and contribute but there has been a great decline in quility post the last 6-7 months. i think a few good mods could change that.

yer right bro, i havent seen the majority of MODS reply to any questions, and i remember when i first got started here on elite how everytime i would email a Mod they would never EVER reply, now they do...maybe cuz they now know i am a a-ok guy:D
 
Bouncer and Almighty are the first ones I'd ban, canadian hating bastards....

I would not vote for Genrar

He is a looser. He left me some bad karma and placed someone else's name. Then When the board started putting the name of the Karma sender - his name popped up as the "real" person - next to the comment saying it was another member on the board. Now all of a sudden that text is gone. Sounds like he is connected on this board and is a chicken shit liar.

Gilly has been pretty cool in the past. Needsize is cool also. Almighty could be a mod someday, but needs a little more polishing.

In all seriousness though I don't care to be a mod on here or any other board anymore. Before I used to be alot more helpful and serious but the questions get so redundant and boring. BasicallyI stick around now just to learn some new things, give some good advice here and there, and to fuck around with people.

I have read many of your posts - you seem to have a lot of knowledge on this stuff. You are helpful in many of your posts. But your sig and some of your posts speak of your younger age. This can be a problem as a mod should (IMO) display great character, look out for others well being and safety, respond and post objectively. If I am going to trust someone (regardless of age) I would have to judge/trust them by their posts, replies and how they treat newbies and mossbacks. You nearly fit all those categories and could be a mod. But you need a few more years. I would have to say you are probably a sharp guy - you will learn what I speak of in the next few years. Enjoy your youth.

P.S. Apply yourself to your career as much as you do this board and juice – you will go a long way my iron brother.

LOL first of all I hope you dont think I made up that quote, it is out of the fine film "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back." I honestly dont see how that speaks of a young age, rather implying that I have a sense of humor.
I try to be informative and helpful with all members, however I attempt to make this board fun as well, hence the jokes in some of my posts. I realize that being only 21 would make it hard for many of the older bros who have been in the game longer to take me seriously, but there is obviously nothing I can do about that.

In any case I appreciate your thoughts. It is always beneficial to know eher a person can improve his or her character.

genarr3 is one of the most helpful bro's on this board. He would top my list of people who should be a mod. And if he gave you negative karma then you most likely deserved it.

I have thought this for some time as well. Mike P.T. would be my first choice (if it were up to me of course...which sadly it isn't), second choice would be myself of course (because I lead a dismal life outside of here and can devote ungodly amounts of time here :( except Fri. and Sat. nights, I do have "some" life). Although I have always wondered what goes on in that mod forum....and I just can't seem to get in there.:user:

.....I have not lost my mind and it is not a bad observation....the post count was posts on the anabolic board in 2002.....do a search with their name and under options put anabolic forum only, you'll get the same results.....posting in chat and conversation or style, fashion, and grooming doesn't qualify you to be a MOD here IMO

....every forum has a different set of MODS....I beleive if you don't post in a particular forum you shouldn't be a MOD there......
 
Maybe maturity/self control should be one of the top qualifications for modship, which narrows the field of candidates a lot.

Better watch it Genarr3 "There Musculer Warrier is coming for you". Everyone here knows Genarr is a good guy and does not fuck around with his advice. And the fact that this is an anabolic forum means the discussion of anabolics, not 3rd grade reading level material from "There Musculer Warrier"
 
It probably won't matter too much though as these guys are pretty much set in stone here, even if they NEVER post on the anabolic board. Hell Conan was a mod here even after not posting for like 6-9 months or so, atleast that was finally corrected. In the last 1 1/2 years the only extra mod added to the anabolic forum that I can remember was Quadsweep (but he has been a great addition)

You're right Zyg joined the same day I did. But I thought you had been a mod for alot longer than that. My bad, oh and kronk was added to, but I think he was added to alot of boards. It's just that the only boards I go to are the anabolic and occassionally the chat.

Alot of the mods here do an A-class job. But alot of them don't post anymore... it would be nice to see some bros that are willing to put in some time and answer some questions for other bros on the AS topic.

There are a couple of guys here now that rock... but a couple that are just non-existant. :)

I don't need to be a mod, I'd be more than welcome to answer any questions thought. :)
