Hows this for attacking the upper portion of the chest?

well people at the gym have been telling me the upper part of my chest has been laggin since i didn't do anything that really focused on them so i changed my routine and hes the revised version

Flat barbell bench press: 3 x 10,8,8

Incline barbell bench press 3 x 10,8,8

Cable Flyes: 2 x 10

Incline dumbell press 3 x 10,8,8

Incline dumbell flyes 3 x10,8,8

Pec Deck: 2 x 10

Hey there big man...Rome wasn't built in a day and neither was a good upper chest. There is no need in doing 3 sets of flat bench press and then doing 9 sets for upper chest. Remember that if you start to focus on shape now...you will never be big. Always use the bulk of your routine towards working the most muscles. When I was bodybuilding...here is what I did.

Flat Bench Press
3-5 sets, varying reps from 1-6

Incline Bench Press (slightly closer grip)
3 sets, 3rd set to failure, vary reps from 3-8

Auxillary exercise (pec deck, flyes, inc dbell flyes, dips, cable crosses...etc...)
2-3 sets
pick one and do it for a few weeks. Vary your reps.

If you feel that your upper chest is lagging, then use your auxillary exercise to hit it extra hard. Do incline dbell press, inc dbell flyes, or incline cable crosses (really really love these too).
