Just curious on everyones ideas and opinions. I start my first day as a CO in the county jail tomorrow. I am wanting to get out on the road and be a police officer one day but I have to pull my time in the jail first. I am curious as to how you guys would train if this was your job day in and day out, dealing with screwed up convicts and such. What I am asking is what you would concentrate on, or what all would you do to stay in shape, how would you lift, what kind of cardio, etc. I still have to go to the academy and I am in good shape for that, its all pushups and running. But once I get back I was going to cut back on the running(not quit, cut back) and hit the weights harder. What is everyone's idea of the most important aspect of training for this job?
