How to eat while injured and not training

Should I decrease the protein? I am not training nearly as much, and skipping squats and deads for now. Even upper body exercises are done with less intensity.

I'm eating about 200g protein (because I'm only training 2 times per week, upper body short workouts), 2500cal per day, and taking just 10mg var per day in the morning. I weigh 190 at 5'10".

I would like to reduce fat gain and muscle loss. Currently I'm getting a little bit of both. Any tips?

im injured right now too
i'm still eating as i would when im training
clean carbs, Efas and proteins. Just not as many calories i guess.. but very close to maintenance
yeah im getting soft around the waist but i want quick recovery i guess

I would try to keep the protein up and stick with anti-catabolic supps like glutamine and BCAAs. You want to put things into your body that are anticatabolic in nature so that you can minimize the muscle loss.

What kind of injury do you have?

If you're still workingout even though you don't do cardio, you can lose bodyfat if you match your diet to your goals.

I would suggest you look at doing 50%protein/20%carbs/30% fat with about weight x 12 since you can afford to do that.

2280 cal per day
285 g protein per day
110 g carbs per day
80 g fat per day

per meal (assuming 6meals); 47g protein/18g carbs/13 g fat

I would suggest increasing anavar dosages to 20mg in the morning, for 10 is a bit too low.

Also, try increasing a bit of upper body exercise since it looks like your lower body can't take a high volume regiment.
