How much makeup do you wear and how much do you spend?

I found the most amazing makeup ever invented today!

Unfortunately it's not available in the US. Yet.

Anyways, I went to Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada today looking for foundation. There was a lady from Cover FX there doing who offered to show me her products so I went for it. This stuff doesn't even feel like it's on your face. It's amazing. It looks very natural. I am wearing just the foundation/concealer.

So now my new and favorite makeup is Cover FX. Made in Toronto and only available here.

After reading this post I went out and tried it.

I have to agree, best makeup ever!!

That's it!! I want some!!!!! :( Hmmm...maybe on ebay?! LOL

I looked on Ebay and they didn't have it. I specifically asked the lady that showed me the makeup if it was available in the US. She said in the future it will be available at Sephora's. Chicago is really not that far from Canada. If you got a chance to go into Canada and visit a Shopper's after colormatching you, they'd allow you to purchase their product via telephone from their Toronto office. That way you can still purchase it and receive it in the US. That's what I'll end up doing although I do visit Canada every few months.

This makeup is super amazing. It's lightweight and doesn't feel or look makeupy (if that's even a word). It's oil and fragance free and doesn't clog pores. It was invented by a dermatologist in Toronto.

They have full coverage foundation/concealer, bronzers, powders, liquid foundations, blushes, and these special brushes which you use to apply it with.

I'm glad you liked it! :) Did the lady clean your face with La Roche Posay products?

I'm so glad you told me about it. :friends: I didn't actually pay much attention to what she cleaned my face with though.....

I went back a couple days ago and got the Cover FX pressed powder.. I think I'm officially addicted. :D

Also, if you ever have any troubles getting it, I wouldn't mind picking it up and mailing it to you.

Starfish: I haven't heard of the Sheer Cover Makeup so I'm not sure if it's the same.. what company is that by? All I can say is, I think I've purchased almost every brand of foundation over the years, and this one definately stands out. :)

Is the pressed powder, Powder Fx or Matte Fx? I've been using Cover Fx, Setting Fx, and Matte Fx as needed. I found that just using Cover Fx alone without Setting Fx made it not last as long. I haven't tried their liquid foundation, bronzer Fx, or Powder Fx aside from the time the makeup artist applied it on me. I'm addicted too! I've been into Shoppers to get something new almost daily.

My boyfriend lives in Canada. I am here every other month or so, but thanks for offering to pick it up for me.

I use the liquid foundation (not sure what that one's called) with the brush, and then the setting powder on top. And then I got the powder FX compact for touch ups during the day. I wanted the matte FX, but they only had 2 shades and neither of them matched quite right.

She put some bronzer on my cheeks, it looked nice, but I was way over budget by this time so I didn't buy it. :)

Yeah, I love Shoppers. I spend far too much money there.

well i've been using products by Trucco. My mother-in-law sells it in her Salon. They have some fabulouse colors!
