How much makeup do you wear and how much do you spend?

I like make up - I think I like to buy it more than use it but over the years I've learn to stop the urge to buy everything.

To work lately - powder, gloss and eyelash curler.
Jazzier to work - add blush and a powder eyeliner.

I've given up on mascara - I have dark long lashes - so I just try and keep them curled.

Days off - no makeup but I will wear gloss - clear, colored whatever.

I will also do the face when the beau and I go out to dinner.

Lucid - my beau is like yours - he likes the whole natural face which is a nice change from a former beau who used to whine - "why don't you wear makeup for me anymore" - silly men can be - we don't wear it for them and their ego we wear it for our egos.

Depends on the day for me really. Some days I'll wear lipstick and eyeliner, other days I dont wear anything at all.

Actually, sometimes I do wear it for Maj's ego. I know he likes being the husband of a pretty woman, so if we're going somewhere together I'm much more likely to go through the trouble.

I don't wear makeup everyday, especially if I'm going to be doing a lot of sweating. Then I might just wear lip gloss. But I will sometimes go all the way (though even then, my foundation is really just a tinted moisterizer). I use mostly Burt's Bees Wings of Love stuff, for makeup and skincare (I love the way it smells and tastes), though I've been getting these catalogues (with samples) for skincare stuff from a Japanese company called DHC, which makes stuff using organic ingredients (BB is natural, but not all organic). I think I'll be making the switch, at least for the skincare stuff, after we buy our new house. (I do have a MAC lipstick and eyeliner that I love when I want more color...it's a purple pencil and a purplish/red lipstick that are lots of fun.) I've also got some Clinique stuff, though it's not my favorite anymore. Except their glossy mascara. That's nice.

I don't want to think about how much I've spent on this stuff.

Really.

Would you dress a certain way for him too (seriously not being a wiseass)?

He's never asked me to, but I guess I might. It would completely depend on what he wanted me to wear.

Now, in the bedroom, of course I'd wear whatever he wanted (and I have).

We've been married for going on thirteen years (we'll celebrate our anniversary this summer). I don't mind doing little things to please him. I'm just glad he still thinks I'm hot.

Mearle Norman's oil-free foundation with SPF 15 (dries matt so no need for a powder), blush, eyeshadow (also use dark eyeshadow as eye liner under the lower lashes), blush/bronzer, mascara, lipstick/gloss. I wear make-up nearly every day, I'm not happy with my natural look. Hubby is fine with me natural and he had a pic of us enlarged from a trip to Cancun one year which I HATED because I had no make-up on...he said he loved the pic because I was so happy in it. My hair was all goofy too. LOL I spend 5-10 minutes doing my make-up but I keep it looking minimal unless we're going out at night. The foundation is the most expensive thing I use, about $35 but it lasts for a few months. I have 2 shades of foundation depending on how much sun I wind up getting or for when I'm using the spray tanning (my face does not tan). I buy a new lipstick or gloss every month, but aside from that, my make-up lasts a long time so I don't think I spend much on the rest.

Congradulations on your 13 years!

You sound like a real sweetheart and ya'll sound like you have a great relationship.

 :)

Okay, I do the full 9 yards every time I leave the house - is there something wrong with me? Na, probably not - besides the fact that I'm anal and I form habits easily. I feel naked without makeup and earrings. I use all MAC makeup and I have to buy it maybe twice a year. Foundation, powder, blush, eyeshadow, liner, mascara, and lipstick. Geez, that sounds like I look like a clown - I don't though :)

I love makeup, everything I use (makeup, skincare) is from Clinique. But what/how much makeup I wear daily depends on what I'm doing and the season--but I usually can't leave the house without mascara and lip gloss. That's about all I wear right now during the day because it's summer, and I've been walking the 1.5 miles to my office, working 4-5 hrs, hitting the gym, and walking home. And there's no one here to impress :)

Going out, I do the foundation/powder/mascara/eyeliner/lipstick/eyeshadow. I was blessed with nice high cheekbones that don't need blush--I've never worn it other than figure skating competitions if my coach made me.

When I want to go really glam, I throw on some fake eyelashes :)
