"If I had to walk that far to the gym I would never have enough energy for a good lifting workout. How do you find the energy to make it back home?"
Lucid & Daisy: It's really not that bad! It's a 30 min walk to the gym & about 30, 45 min or 1 hour home depending on how far we go. It's usually a 2 hour jaunt gym wise including walking & lifting. That's why I'm going to start counting that towards cardio more often!! LOL
I make myself do a good lifting routine. No slacking for me! It's been paying off cuz my free weight bench is up to 90 lbs.
