I am watching Kevin Levrone's DVD, Maryland Muscle Machine, and all of his lifts (when going heavy) are all the the 4 to 6 range. For example, his flat bench work starts off with 225x8, 315x6, 405x5, and ends with 500x4 and that's it for flat. He does other exercises but the heavy stuff stay in the low rep range. For that matter, so are Ronnie's heavy lifts and the real heavy stuff is just 1 rep so I guess it aint all that bad to lift heavy in the low rep range.
