As Shirlene mentioned, it is botulism, and I don't believe there's been enough conclusive study to suggest the benefits outweigh any possible side effects of it's use over time. I think the best preventative measures you could take are probably what you already do, good nutrition, plenty of exercise/water. As far as topicals, Retin-A is the gold standard for anti-aging protocols. Use a broad spectrum sunblock and some sort of anti-oxident like a C-serum and you should look great for decades. When you get to the point where specific things are bothering you, instead of botox or fillers, you should try a facial exercise program.
