How did your parents/girlfriend/wife to you starting steroids?

I think the biggest thing that mine would be scared of me doing is injecting, because it seems more extreme than just swallowing pills. Which is ironic how it's probably safer........

So how did your parents/girlfriend/wife (or whoever you live with) react when you told them you're doing steroids?

lol @ parents. Girlfriend is ok with it. I'm older and am on a TRT style dose full time and she really likes sex. And she likes that I'm big. The thing is trust - she knows and trusts that I have a good handle on what I'm doing and am not seriously affecting my health.

Parents have their suspicions. My mother was checking the veins of my arms for needle marks after I went 6 months without seeing her and came back all blown up.. but she's still clueless..

Gf is cool with it.. she has helped me inject a few times.. she said she had noticed no side effects except I blew up and sweated a bit more..

I educated my wife correctly and told her what I wanted to do before ever starting. Once she gave her approval I started my first at the age of 36. If she would have had a problem with it I never would have started. This might be my lifestyle, but my family is my life and they will always come first.

I'm 25, I know I don't need to get approval or 'care' what they think - but even thought i'm not a 'kid' i'm sure they're still concerned for my well being.

I've been pretty fortunate, I guess. Never gotten any static from gf's that knew. My current GF is an RN and she gets disappointed when I won't let her do my injects. She's required to aspirate all injects at work and occasionally tells me, "don't forget to aspirate."
