have not posted for a week or so. Been really busy. Just thought I would drop an update:
My puppy(Outlaw) is still running with me. He's SOOOO cute! He gets so excited.
I am still eating right and feeling much better thanx to the EF girls and the recipe thread.
:)

Awwww..ever take him on blades with you ... my boxer takes off, and I know people will shoot me for the idea, but he just goes n goes n goes like he is having the time of his life :)

At least it puts him to bed for a couple hours after that intense workout .. lasting maybe 10-15 minutes :) Then I can continue mine :)

Happy Wednesday.

WHOA!!!! Do u mean ROLLERBLADES!???!!!!
That sounds kinda crazy but like a whole lotta fun.
Since he's just starting off with the running, I usually take him out durring my warm up or cool down. I never really had 2much of a warm up or cool down B4 my pup. It works out really well. I take him out for a few laps around the block before I run or after. It's great.
One time I took him 2far. I took him with me on a run and I guess he got tired. He sat on the ground and wouldn't budge after about 1/2 mile. He had been running a few weeks and seemed really energentic. I guess I was being a dum dum. He just looked at me and wouldn't budge. I figured he would be able to at least walk again if a carried him for a block or 2 but NOOOOOO. I ended up carrying him several blocks until we got back home. Poor little guy. Since then, I just take him for a couple of laps around the block. Anywhere between 2-4 laps depending on how he feels. He seems like a really good puppy-runner but I need to remember he's only been doing this for a short while.

:FRlol: YUP :) But It can be dangerous b/c if they decide to step in front of you (b4 they learn to to SPRINT), or bite at your feet, you may take a tumble :)

He wants to go for w walk with momma? .. After he tries to attacks the rolley things on my feet lol ... gets his leash & flies ... 5 minutes or around the block ... & he's done for .. then I can do my workout :)

EVen before, I set up my mat to do abs in the LR and I go back to the mat & he's laying on it ... won't budge ... then when I get him to, lays next to me, if not ON me while I try to do it, or stand in front of the TV (when i use to do those ab tapes) lol :) or starts licking my face ....

Yes, the warm up cool down quickies are good for them .. I cannot believe you have to carry him OMG ... I just walk really slow if he's tired, on my toes, doing like plyo jump to work my calves, lunges or jump lunges/squats down the road at HIS pace ... :)

Wacky neighbor, yet the whole block & those infront & back all not have boxers... copy cats :) Not as cute as mine of course :)

LOL that probably works better w/ a dog than a cat.... my cat likes to sit on my feet. Doubt he'd be up for roller blading. He also tends to like to lay on the ground & roll around a lot. I will give him that I've never seen an animal get such immediate gratification from rolling & scratching and rubbing... But actually getting exercise & covering distance ... not real successfu there...
