for those not participating in the other competition thread...

just thought i'd post and get some feedback on things you might change...

i'm looking to start a 5x5 SF, and add 5-10 pounds over the next 8 weeks... I am going to gauge my progress weekly, and if i'm not adding any bodyfat in the mirror, i will up my calories by 100 and cap out at 4400, if i can make it that high...

Meal 4 will be split up a bit... that is my postworkout meal, and will have my shake once i get home, 15 minutes after i take my Glucorell... then i will have my bar, and yogurt in the car on the way to work...

i may decide to throw an English muffin in there with the shake as well, just to throw some more carbs in me... that adds another 120 calories...

too many shakes! WHOLE FOOD = MASS!
Too much fat in muscle milk meal
Lose the friggn processed cereal
Lose the cheap, garbage protein bars
add dext to you pw shake
have the banana either 1st thing or post training........
 
I thought Chex was a good cereal to eat, kinda like Brown Rice Cereal or Go Lean. Anyways, I'd dump the retail protein bars and make my own. All the powerbars, etc i bought had so much crud in them I decided to toss them and make my own with oatmeal/anpb/etc. Maybe slow it down to 2 shakes or 1 a day. Anyways, it looks like a pretty clean diet.
 
can't eat all the food... no time, and don't have the stomach for it...

besides that what are you supposed to eat to make up 30g of protein 3 more times...?
 
the Chex is Whole Wheat Chex, made from 100% whole grains, so i don't think it's an issue...

the ground turkey i bought to eat with my eggs for this week, is horrible... tastes like shit, so that's why i'm switching back to the ground beef...

looking over it some more, i will drop the shake with Meal 2, as i'm getting enough protien in the beef and eggs...

thanks for the input so far fellas... any other is welcomed...

why do you say there is too much fat in Meal 6...? i think there are too many carbs, but don't know how to get them down...

as far as the banana, why have it first thing...? at Meal 1, i'm just waking, and eating and then going back to bed until 9:00am...

i can add it in after my workout though, instead of before...

i have these protien bars, so i'm gonna choke 'em down until they are gone, and then look for an alternative...
 
looking over it again, i've made a few changes already, and am sure there will be other tweaks before i get it nailed down...

remove shake from meal 2...

move banana from meal 3 to meal 4...

move muslce milk from meal 6 to meal 7 at 11:00PM, and add 1/2Tbsp of olive oil to the green beans... this move really helps me get rid of those carbs i didn't want in that meal... trying to keep the carbs at 10 or less during meal 2 and 6...

i gotta make changes to the spreadsheet and repost later tonight...

keep the suggestions coming...

meal 7 is now meal 8...
