A lot of what everyone says in this thread so far is right on. If you take in carbs, do it right after working out. And I did pretty much what Slyder said including a.m. cardio before eating anything.
Also, what onemind said, no carbs too late in the day.
Shear_madness, I started at about 13% bf weighing about 168. On the day of the black and white pic, I weighed 164 and had about 5% bf. Now the weight is decieving because I had NOTHING in me. I weiged 170 by the next morning. In the second pic which is 3 days later I weighed 175. These pics are scanned in so they actually do no justice. In the actual pics I look so lean and veiny so yes the 48 hours of fasting did really make me look very lean. However, I personally rathered the way I looked 3 days later. Abs were still kicking but I looked so much fuller and bigger.
