Help! Running my first Cycle.....

This isn't chat.

Remember that please.

First and last warning.

I am sorry, BIKINIMOM, I wandered over from chat and didn't realize how to behave with a modicum of respect towards myself, the other members and certainly not the moderators. I didn't realize that MY WORDS are read by countless women who might not know that Princesa and I are *e-friends* and they might not KNOW that I was kidding. I promise to behave myself or just stay in chat. :)

Hey lady. I'm so glad to see you posting all of this! I agree that you want to eliminate some of this fruit. Too many sugars - and that sluggish feeling you might be feeling could be due to a sugar crash. I used to load up on fruits too - not until I limited them did I feel better. Do you take any protein, glutamine or BCAA supplements? That will be an important add to your diet - particularly if training from my program. There is some good advice on here! Start by tracking your diet for a few days in FitDay - do this before trying to make any changes. Get a good idea of how many calories you are eating and your macros (protein/carbs/fat). This will help you greatly determine what needs to go or be added. There is a really good post by desmond in the diet forum (the thread is by onebreath - something about smashing a PR record). He posted a list of GREAT foods that should be in your diet. Check out the fruit - if you are going to eat fruit - have it early in the day and stick to that list (berries being the best). You are well on your way - do that tracking - get your diet down 100% and stick to it 90% of the time. Then, once you have that down go on VAR. Do yourself a favor and don't waste a cycle (I have done that). Get everything in place and then go for it!

Well I'm a little bummed out about the fruit servings :(, however, I'll cut it down. There is so much information out there, it gets a bit overwhelming. I was under the impression to eat as many fruits and veggies as possible. As far as my morning meal goes, it is a big meal. I'm practically starving by that time, I need some fuel to keep me going. But I see your point BM, I'll look into it.

Can't sign up on Fitday right now, I'm working. Will do that later on tonight.

I stay away from the scale but I took some measurements for you guys to see.

ok here we go

Biceps= 12"

Chest= 36"

Chest under boobs = 32"

Waist = 27"

Hips = 36"

Thighs = 22.3"

Calves 14"

I know i know..all hips and thighs lol
gonna try and get a bodyfat test done by this weekend, ughhhh hate that :evil:

I don't see why you are bummed about your measurements you are in good proportion. What is your height please?

I am 5'3" and our measurements are nearly the same. I think my thighs may be a bit smaller as I don't lift weights much anymore but other than that, pretty much the same. I am very thick-wasted, always have been so in order to be competitive you will have to really really bring your shoulders out (that is, if they are not well developed).

Fruits and vegetables are NOT interchangeable. Fruit is not evil or bad it is just that there are as many veggies that will give the same nutritional/fiber benefit without all the sugar. Now simple sugars that come in fruits are not evil as I say, matter of fact pre-workout they are good for you. Did you ever think to have just a bit more food BEFORE your workout? Combine macros so that it will slow the absorption of the calories that you do ingest?

IMHO the way you are breaking the macros of your first two meals down is very ineffective: too little fast burning calories before, no slow-burning (leading to initial spike then plummet of blood sugar during workout) which leads to major hunger post workout.

Is this making sense to you?

I know it seems like a lot of info but once it clicks it will click BIG.

Please ask all the questions you like. WE LOVE IT when people get involved and take control of their own success. ;)

Something really important is that you must know how to reduce bodyfat with diet alone when starting to use AAs, because once you stop from taking them either it will be too hard to keep what you achieved or you will rebound.

I see your diet and it looks very deficient... don't get me wrong... but I'm sure that with a twist it could give you better results.

Since, you are planning your cycle, take into account (this is very important) that your protein consumption must increase... you know what anavar is for right? On the other hand, you mention "My diet is on check most of the time"... for the cycle and after you need the diet to be on check ALL the time.

I have some suggestions for your diet

Here is a sample of my diet:

Am--before work out
-1 green apple

---->+ protein shake

After work out ((I soo look forward to this meal.. lol)
--4 eggs (scrambled or boiled) 1/2 cup of cottage cheese
shredded wheat or oatmeal with blueberries

--->> the eggs you can take 2 yolks and 4 egg whites or 1 egg yolk and 4 egg whites
I would swith the cottage cheese with oatmeal with skim milk.

--Chicken/tuna with veggies or a salad
1 sweet potato + fruit

>> this meal should be chicken/tuna with veggie salad with 1 sweet potato and a fruit

--Chicken with a salad or veggies + Fruit
(if i feel slugish sometimes, I will have a sweet potato)
>> this meal should be chicken/tuna with veggie salad with 1 sweet potato and a fruit

--Fruit or APB or Almonds
.---> this meal needs protein... ie., protein shake
On the other hand, I would limit fruit for the morning or mid afternoon.

--Fruit again or cottage cheese
>>> tuna with veggie salad.

In other words, one thing that must be present in all your meals is protein.

Regarding hair loss, if you have not taken AAs before it would be good to have a med check up
