Having CHILDREN and REPRODUCING???

Repro and AAS

My friend is 24/m and his father won a few gold medals in the Olympics in the 60's. There's no doubt that he juiced. Last year my friend was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease, a lethal hormonal disorder.

It is yet to be seen if a connection of his father's AS use can be made with his son's disease. Chances are that it was caused by the AS and transferred down to the next generation. The exact mechanism is a mystery.

I have another friend. Major juicehead. He has a 3 year old son, and he is a little retarded.

Who knows for sure, maybe in a few years we'll find the truth about the use of AS and its effect on future generations.

MRDBOL ....Ijust finished reading your post and am on the verge of manic depresion after reading it. I have a 1 year old son whom
I love more then anything in the world. I was on a cycle when I concieved him( so much for the studys that show test as being an effective contriception...I can name at least 4 other guys it happened to) anyway I looked into the side effects that can accur from it I found none...I even asked legitimate docters (endo & reproductive) .They gave me a lecture on doing illegal steriods, but asured me that there would be no problems. They went as far as saying that test is sometimes given to men who have fertilaty problems ( not at the high dosages a b.b would take . I found no studys that show the effect of high amount of steroids would have ,thats what worries me all the studys are conducted on medicinal doses so I guess nobody really knows if this holds true for high doses. there is chances of birth deffects if a women is on steriods .So I wanna know do u have any solid evidence about what u wrote on your post , also does anybody on this board ( mods) have solid info on this subject or know of any sites on the web that I can get solid info

this might not be a big deal to must of the peaple on this board ....but it is to me .......so if any one can help please do

Repro and AAS

Of all of the AAS literature that I have read over the years, nothing seems to indicate that steroids give birth defects. Of course this is all on paper. From personal observation, I know 2 people that had problems as discussed previously. But it is uncertain if they were a direct result of AAS use.

This is an excerpt from Anabolics 2000 by William Llewelyn in regards to Birth Defects for both females and males using AAS:

"Anabolic/androgenic steroids can have a very pronounced impact on the development of an unborn fetus. Adrenal Genital syndrome in particular is a very disturbing occurrence, in which a female fetus can develop male-like reproductive organs. Women who are, or plan to become pregnant soon, should never consider the use of anabolic steroids. It would also be the best advice to stay away from there drugs completely for a number of months prior to attempting the conception of a child, so as to ensure the mother has a normal hormonal chemistry. Although anabolic/androgenic steroids can reduce sperm count and male fertility, they are not linked to birth defects when taken by someone fathering a child."
