Has anyone else noticed a change in fat distribution with age?

This isn't necessarily an AAS-related question, but since this board is one of the most oft frequented I thought I'd post it up.

Has anyone else noticed a marked difference in fat distribution over their body as they moved from their teens into their twenties? I used to carry more fat on my arms, forearms, shoulders, and thighs in proportion to what I had on my abdomen. In the past couple of years, however (I'll be 23 in May), I've noticed that even when I'm a fat bastard :D in the stomach area, the other parts of my body will stay at a bodyfat level that is proportionately much lower than it was a couple of years ago. I know that hormones dictate fat distribution, but I'm guessing that I've always had pretty high test levels judging from my extreme horniness and my propensity to gain muscle more easily than most. Has anybody else noticed a shift as they got older? Is this just a natural part of maturing or what?

Thanks to all.

You're only 23, but yes, you are maturing bro. I am 41 and have 33" waist, but have to fucking struggle to keep it that way.
If any fat is to be stored - yes, it will hit my abdomen first.
That is why you'll see plenty of older men with skiny arms and legs, but big gut.
Who said life was fair?

If you think it's bad now wait till you hit 30, That one year change was like a light switch. Everything goes to the gut.

I suppose the one advantage to that is that you can wear a shirt to cover up your stomach and still look pretty good in the upper body. :D
