Going to Doc...Please Help.

I am going in for bloodwork from a doc who is sympathetic to HRT, HGH everything. I am on pprohormones that are lowering my free and total test right now.

Is that going to mess up my bloodwork?

Or just make it better for him to prescribe?

It all depends on how long and what dose you have been taking. If he is anything like my Dr. I just left with a script for 90 of the 10mg halos. Best thing is my insurance picked up the cost minus my $20 copay.

My doctorts have never asked my if I am taking prohormones/prosteroids even though

1. liver enzymes elevated
2. low hdl + high ldl
3. high blood pressure
4. 35 BMI and active weight lifter.

I have been working to fix the first three , but they have told me that losing weight will help #1.

Make sure you ask for free hormone levels in your panel. The only problem is that by taking the prohormones and such you have probaly skyrocketed your estrogen levels and suppressed your test levels. You need to ask for something that will hel to lower the estrogen in addition to something that will raise test.
