I've been dieting very hard for months and am currently on a masterone/winstrol stack with low doses of test, but seem to be holding a great deal of subcutanious water. I generally do 3 days of keto followed by a carb up, but lately I've limited my carb ups to 600-700 grams of carbs and all of them very low GI. I'm wondering if my soft look has more to do with lack of muscle glycogen. I've found with experimentation that I look by best when I carb up on higher GI carbs, so I've bought a couple boxes of honey combes, a little yogurt, a few babnans and a couple containers of chocolate flavoried soy milk, and I plan on spending the next 48 hours after my heavy back and thigh workout this afternoon carb loading. I normally would use choolate pudding and chocolate chip cookies at 1200 grams of carbs a day in order to properly fill out for a show, but do not want to go quite that high of a gi since I will be with friends tomarrow and do not want my hypoglycemia to bring me down while out having fun.

With a litte luck I will fill otu properly and get a beter idea of what I should look like at my current bodyfat, and perhaps it will speed my metabolism up a bit so that I can diet harder for the next couple of weeks. Any thoughts or suggestions on this? Please do not recomend r-ala or some other suppliment that cost more than $5. I'm a full time student on a budget and honestly cannot afford them unless you plan on mailing them to me for free, and have placed 3rd a two shows without the use of such things.

I'm not competing again for a few years. I need to focus on school. I just would like to diet down a bit because I'm too fat. I would like to train my body to stay leaner year round.

Jkurz, I put down around 3000 grams of carbs by the end of saturdaynight, but at a bit too much pizza, so was holding water, but looked alot fuller and harder than I had. I was up to 239 the net day when I weighed in at the gym, and my workouts have been excellent for the last couple of days. I was feeling pretty drained again today, so just started my carb up. WIll do about 500 grams of carbs tonght then be back in keto tomarrow for 3 more days. Yesterday I had the best bicep and back workout out I've had in awhile but it left me vey sore this morning, and my arms and lats were cramping the rest of the night.

Nice! Would you reccomend a carb up for someone who is never in ketosis, but who's carb intake is on the low end everyday of the week i.e. < 200grams? Maybe a clean carb up by adding 1/2 cup of oats to every meal or so? Much thanks......

No when dieting you definately need to refeed from time to time. If you are really lean I would say on that type of diet, every 3 or 4 days hit the carbs up, something like oatmeal would work.
