gel cap dissolve time

I have a whole bunch of these fish oil caps, and they have these thick gelatin exteriors.. much thicker than a powder supplement like t-rex or glucorell does.

I'm wondering when I'm trying to do things like time the EFA's being digested with a whey shake to slow the protein absorption down, how long does it take my stomach to dissolve the gel around the oil?

I'm not sure of the exact time to dissolve, but I usually take mine right before I prepare my protein shake so it has time to start breaking down. I can usually tell when it is dissolved by the fish taste in my burps.
