Funny pics from my last contest....

another...

Heinz Ollesch from Germany...talk about one massive man.

Jared Dymek (sp) from Poland. An extremely lean 280lbs.

I think he won this event with 18 or 20 reps

Here is a big crew...

Notice Amy Weisberger....world record holder in the women's and men's bench press...319 @132lbs.

Big Tony Scrivens is on the end. The large black guy. Look at the size of his hands and forearms...

Hi everyone. I just joined your board. This is by far the best board i've seen on the net. Great posts and lots of good info.

Thank alot for posting all the great pics B Fold.
I see from reading your posts you've got what it takes to go far in your sport. Good luck.

B Fold is those all the american competitors in your last pic?

And is that Phil Phister in the back row?

Those are both American and foreign competitors. Heinz Ollesch and Odd Haugden is on the back row.

Yep...that is Phister on the back row...and I believe that is Gillingham (who beat Phister and Svend that day) on the front with the stars and stripes pants.

Look to see Marunde at the World's Strongest Man contest this year...22 years old too. The one of the far right wearing the shirt that says "Dawson's Dad."

Good to have you on board!!!!

Oh, thats Heinz back there, thought that was you. You two look alike. HeHe

That Phister has always impressed me. He doesnt have much size at all. And he's been right there in the running for the past couple years. Although this year he has started to put on a little size. I think he set a world record in the farmers walk this year?

Won't be long and we'll be seeing you on ESPN WSM!

Sore.

Heinz is probably 6'5" or better. I had dinner with his wife and a few other pro strongmen after the contest. Talk about a super guy, willing to help, very intelligent...and freaking huge. People don't realize how large of a boneframe these guys have...monsters.

Phil is a super guy, really focuses on events mostly, little gym work (starting to add it in now) and has mitts for hands. His hands are just amazing large.

Me at the Worlds...? I dunno. I just want to be pro...my goal is the process...not the light at the end of the tunnel.
