just stick the keyboard in the washer on the "delicates" setting

you CAN stick in keyboard in the dishwasher. keyboards are sealed and the water will not ruin it. the only way water will ruin the keyboard is if it's old and the seal is cracked.. which could be the case.

is it an old keyboard? if so that explains it... believe what u want, but i've stuck many keyboards in the dishwasher to get sticky soft drinks off of them. it works.
