First week of new split

well i just finished my first week of the 3 day split, and i feel a lot weaker. i couldnt do as much on incline dumbbell press, i got stuck on my first rep of 75 on my third set, i had to have my friend help me on the first rep. on my old split i could do 3 sets of 8 with 75# 2 days a week. i dunno whats goin on, could be all mental, but im not sure.

actually yesterday after hte lift, me and 2 of my friends went to his nice ass cabin and chilled in a hot tob smokin cubans and bud. it was very relaxing. im doin better now, i got some of my problems resolved, i think it coulda been cuz my hand hurt so bad cuz my knuckle is still messed up. but things are lookin up for next week, nice weather, gettin out more, feeling good. :D
 
When you shake up your routine you shake up how much weight you can handle. You reset the baseline everytime you start a new routine. Sometimes the numbers stay the same. Sometimes they go up. Sometimes they go down.
 
i think it was just generally a bad day, ill post on how i do next week, im feelin good right now, next lift day is monday and thats back and bicep, which is always a lot of fun for me.
 
Good luck lee...i know how it feels when you have a shitty workout, it effects all other aspects of your life. But for you maybe its the other way around, know what I mean? Just stick thru it bro, it can only get better

thx man, im really lookin forward to tommorows workout, i know i can do good on it. im feeling a lot better lately, thx to a lot of help from the people on here.
